◘ Makoto • Hisaishi ◘
"Surrender?" Damian chuckled, "I don't think I'm capable of such a thing my dear." His eyes focused upon Amaya, mind suddenly going through all the things he would do to the wolf and how'd he make her scream.
Han soon caught up to Makoto and grabbed hold of her as she began to kick about, screaming for him to release her. "Makoto, stop this now." He hissed, and waited until the girl did stop and began to cry softly. "Makoto-sama. . . ." He readjusted the girl so he could hug her tightly. "It's okay, just relax. I'm sure he'll come back one day. Besides, I don't think anyone could not miss that beautiful smile of your's." He tried to comfort her, but knew he might as well remain silent. he picked up the girl who wept on his shoulder, arms around his neck and carried her back home. He would have to search for the boy later, but until then, he had to put Makoto to rest and make her favorite meal.

ҪнɭσӚ ϐӚηηӚʈʈ тʜӚ ώӚɼӚɭɪσηChloe sprinted through the woods, her back bent slightly into a half crouch as she did so. Her dark eyes flicked about her, turning a bright gold briefly before receding back to their dark brown. They were persistant little ********. She was about to come out from her hidden posistion beneath a bush next to an oak tree when she heard footsteps nearby. Instead of coming out, she slid further back through the bushes, with a silence and grace that only lycanthropy can grant you.
"Dammit! Where is she?" Chloe heard one of the men ask in a harsh, aggravated tone.
"If we knew we wouldn't be out here, now would we?" A second man said, his voice laced with sarcasm. When the only reply was another curse from the first man, a smile spread on Chloe's lips. There were only two. She could take them.
Chloe began to creep forward through the bushes again. She kept going until she could see the men's feet and lower calves through the leaves. She could her breath moving the leaves slightly and braced herself for the jump.
A roar erupted from her throat a second before she leaped out from the shelter of her the bush. In a moment it was over. Her hands gripped the sides of one of the men's face and she twisted in one swift movement. He crumpled to the ground, his neck broken, but Chloe had already turned to the neck man.
She jumped into the air and sent him flying backwards with a double kick to the chest. She used the rebounding force from that kick to backflip through the air and land on the ground on all fours. Her kick had sent the man flying backwards into the air and his head had collided with a large rock when he landed. She didn't have to worry about him anymore either.
Chloe's ears twitched and she could hear more feet approaching in the distance, thanks to her lycanthrope hearing. Her roar had probably alerted them. It hadn't been a roar like a lion's deep, bellowing roar. It had had a higher pitch and filled with rolls and pitches that brought it closer to a leopard’s than a lion’s. Yeah, that what was what she needed to be worried about right now. The proper way to describe her roar.
With that thought, Chloe turned and ran in the direction opposite of the one the men were coming from. Not really caring about subtlety, Chloe began her shift in mid-run. It happened so quickly that you would've missed it if you'd blinked. As she ran, her face began to elongate slightly to form a small muzzle; her teeth lengthened and sharpened; her ears grew larger and pointed and moved up on her head; a tail grew out of her rear, forcing its way out from under the dirty rags that they'd given her to wear; her finger- and toenails sharpened considerably; golden tanned fur sprouted out to cover her entire body, except for her the from of her body. The fur from the juncture of her thighs to her nose was a pure white.
She was a werelion now. People always seemed to think that lycanthropy just magically turned you into that animal. It didn't work that way. True lycanthropy put you in an anthromorphic limbo between human and whatever animal you were supposed to become. Anyone who just turned into that animal completely were shapeshifters, not lycanthropes. There's a slight but sure difference.
While she was thinking all this, Chloe had still been running. Chloe also realized that she'd lost her chasers in the run. Upside to lycanthropy: Superior speed, as well as strength and senses, but that wasn't important. What was important was finding out where the hell she was.
Chloe went back into a crouch again and began to creep forward, doing her best to move quickly while still keeping out of the direct line of fire. She stopped moving when she scent other humans nearby. Then she focused and realized that some of them were only partially-human. She crept forward until she could see a large and wealthy-looking estate.
