Yeah, I hear about that a lot. My landlord is CONVINCED of the 12-12-12 thing. (December 12, 2012) It's all pretty silly if you ask me. I mean, get a life people!
And Chibi, the guy I mentioned is not too bad, in fact he's pretty cool. he's just your average pervert that also has an anime addiction. I just can't figure out why we get along so well... ninja

LilChibiusa I guess that December 2012 is the next time for doomsday. I would really hate for the world to end then. There are so many things I want to do with my life. Agreed on that part, My life's so incomplete.

If that's the case, then it seems even more silly to think that the world will end then.

Actually, I checked into it, and some of the stuff I found seems to indicate that, if the ancient Mayans were still around and thriving, their calender would have started over again. In many ways it would have been like the Year of Jubilee in the Bible. Party, party, and more party for the whole year.
Either that, or they would just add a few centuries to the original.

That's good to hear. My brother is completely convinced the world is going to end in 2012, but I want to live to a ripe old age. If all goes according to plan, I'll be in Japan in December 2012 teaching English.

Some random stuff about people staring at the new year countdown all weird like they were freakin out about something. Nothing happened after that ball drop thingy, but no one moved and then some weird stuff happened where some buildings were set on fire and there was a person floating in the air and light that comes from the sky like a sword and pretty much creates rifts and w/e in the earth.
There was a whole bunch of other stuff but it's a tl;dr thing, but a couple friends of mine had similar dreams just in different view angles. The funny part is we didn't know wtf 2012 meant at the time... 8P I stick with it's all dumb and I'd rather be able to do what I want lol

It's kind of creepy that your friends dreamed the same thing.

I'm still plugging away trying to find a job, but my attempts have been fruitless so far. I'm still planning on applying for the JET Programme, but I really want to pay off at least one of my three loans before I leave (that is if I get accepted). How about you? Have you done anything fun recently?
