LilChibiusa Does the Arkham one have anything to do with Batman? I haven't heard of that game, and the first thing that came to mind was the Arkham Asylum. Yes indeed: Arkham asylum Arkham city I'm also hoping infamous 2 turns out good.

What a cute kitty! whee heart I didn't realize that those games were so highly rated. I usually don't pay much attention to games that are based off of movies and games except for the Lego games. It's nice to know that they've done the Batman franchise justice with them.

You know, once I get back in school, it will be SOOO much easier to keep up with my posting. Chibi, we have got to get together again soon. Are there any good cons coming up? That was fun!! I promise I'll stay away from the caffine and sugar during this one. I think I had a little too much sugar durin the last one. sweatdrop

I'm doing okay. I had an MRI done this morning because I've been having worsening headaches. I got the results this afternoon, and everything looks good with my brain. I guess that's a good thing, but I still don't know what's causing my headaches. My doctor is trying me on a battery of medications hoping that one will work for me. It seems kind of odd doing that. It seems like it might be a better idea to find the source of my headaches, and THEN choose a medicine based off of those findings. I hope your head is feeling fine. biggrin
@Moriko - And you're not allowed to get grumpy at night too. wink I love you to death, but you become a little over bearing when you get tired out. sweatdrop

Well, you gotta remember batman is more than the movies. the game actually has no connection with the movies. Hey, are you okay? sad

Glad to hear that Malomy and family are doing well.
Hope you all and yours are safe.
Chibi, I hope you are feeling better and are able to figure out what has been causing your ill health.

Malomy is safe, and her house is okay. The is unbelievable damage on her street, but her house was spared. She still doesn't have phone service or electricity. She borrowed a cell phone and called me to let me know that she and her family were fine. She was a bit surprised when a sheriff showed up at her front door to inquire about her family. She thought that she should find a cell phone (hers was dead) and give me a call after that. I was surprised to find out that she didn't know about the extent of the damage on her own street. They were telling everyone in the area whose houses were spared to stay indoors, so she didn't know that several houses on her street were reduced to piles of splinters. Hopefully they'll get power and phone service back again soon, but I think they are going to have to completely redo the phone and power lines through there.
Surprisingly, that medicine that the doctor gave me actually got rid of my headaches. It got rid of the dizziness, nausea, and sensitivity to sound almost immediately. The pain part gradually went away, and it was gone completely after a week. I don't know what's in those pills, but I like it! heart

YAY!! My Chibi feels better! OK, think there may have been sugar in that sandwich I just ate. I'm glad to hear Malomy is okay. You know I was worried about her. And Chibi, I'm sorry I got a little irritable to at the con. You know I love you. And if it helps you feel better, I had to help with the tornado relief effort, and I worked with a guy that has GOT to be the reincarnation of Miroku.

@Moriko - What was he doing? Was he flirting shamelessly with you and trying to grab your butt? It doesn't make me feel any better to know that you are suffering with a jerk like that. I hope you put him in his place. Btw, Malomy now has power, phones, internet, and cable. She spent the weekend with me, and I freaked out when I drove through her neighborhood, just three or four houses away from her house, everything was completely leveled. She just barely missed it. I didn't even recognize her street as I was driving down it. But, as I said, she and her family are doing well, and everything is as back to normal as can be expected considering the state of area where she lives.
@Scythe - My brother just played Arkham Asylum, and he was obsessed with it. I watched him play for about an hour, and it actually looked way better in gameplay than I expected. Apparently they put a ton of effort in their AI.

The gameplay is tight, the AI is great, the dialog is right on, and everything just works so well! I get all excited every time I see more info for city.

I noticed the voices sound just like the ones from the 90s cartoon. I loved that detail. I might play it, but first I am determined to beat co-op mode on Portal 2. You see, I don't have a 360. My brother has one, and it's only on his schedule that I ever get to play it. He has agreed to help me beat co-op mode, but he is a bit distracted by his girlfriend at the moment. As far as I know, only one person on her street died. It's kind of miraculous really that more people weren't killed considering the devastation in the area. If I remember correctly it was an old lady who lived by herself who was killed. Several of the houses out there have blue tarps over their roofs where trees had fallen on their houses. The people whose houses were completely demolished have white FEMA trailers right next to their old houses. There are American flags flying everywhere in the areas that were hit. I can't imagine recovering from a blow like that, but businesses and churches are doing a ton of stuff down here to get people back on their feet.

I guess that December 2012 is the next time for doomsday. I would really hate for the world to end then. There are so many things I want to do with my life.
