the mall

He randomly grabbed a huge "Luv pup" pillow pet from a shelve, jacking him with it playfully before his eyes started twinkling and he hugged the item he'd grabbed tightly. "I want it!" Yukio decided, already skipping to the register and all but forgetting Talon.

He looked away from the boy suddenly, facing the ground with an unreadable face.

"I would've bought it for you." Talon said indifferently as they exited the little childish store.

January was swarmed with the awkward silence, hugging his knees to his chest. His rustic looking coat was a little torn up...But it was the only one he had. His mind was now focused on his coat than anything else, thinking he should buy a new one.

"You don't need to, I'm the freeloader of a rich guy." Yukio mumbled cheerfully, still hugging the pillow pet tightly as he smiled up at the taller man childishly. He wondered where he should put this thing. Probably on the the couch...

"There's nothing here, we should go." Christopher said plainly as he stepped over to the two gloomily.

Knowing he wouldn't find anything from the beginning, Ethan simply nodded as he snapped out of his daze and stood up slowly. "Kay." He said timidly, pushing his glasses further up onto his nose in a clumsy manner.

"I didn't know Fuyuki was rich..." He murmured, figuring he'd have some place to go if he ever got sacked.

January had done the same, smiling when he saw the other push up his glasses as well. He stood up and brushed himself off.

"He doesn't really act like a rich guy, does he?" Yukio giggled, thinking back on the things he'd figured out when he was in his head and the way he acted in the short time he was with him in this body. It wasn't very 'Polite' or 'Mannerly'. Though maybe that was just a stereotype...

The older brother grabbed the younger's hand quickly before he could fall behind again. He hadn't even noticed it last time until he'd already entered the shop, that sneaky bird...

Ethan looked away with a small pout and blush, looking like a stubborn child being led by his mother out of the shop.

January stood there for a few seconds, thinking it'd be weird to follow them. "Um... Okay..." He mumbled, continuing to stand there dumbly as they walked off.

"No...I would never assume he was either had I not known." Talon admitted, scratching hid head. This time he hadn't grabbed the boy's hand, as they had been given many strange looks before.

"We're...missing someone." He murmured to his older brother timidly, looking back.

"Obviously he didn't want to follow us." Christopher murmured, still pulling him along as they zoomed past Yukio and Talon to the exit.

He nodded, already being sidetracked as he was comparing the softness of the "Luv pup" to the softness of his ears, rubbing them both with a hand.

"Hey..!" Talon had started, yelling at the two boys who had just zoomed past them, but he was sidetracked by whatever Yukio was doing. "What the hell are you doing?" He asked curiously.

January blinked, watching as he left. He then left the store himself, walking at a much slower pace.

"Comparing softness." He answered simply, almost purring. "I think I'm softer." Yukio added after a moment, stopping what he was doing. After yet another quick moment he edged closer to Talon as he asked a question. "Hey, later on can you rub my ears?" The black wolf asked, as if it was a normal question that people asked every day. As if on cue, his wolfy ears twitched cutely.

"Sure..." Talon smirked lightly, placing his hands on the other's back and pulling him even closer. "Sure..." The teacher repeated, leaning down to kiss him.

The shifter blinked, noticing the odd couple and blushing lightly. Quickly he walked past them, trying to look away as he exited the mall.

He kissed back lovingly, using his own arms to hold his partner closer as well. It was mostly a thank you. He didn't care if it seemed like a cat, he found being 'Pet' or getting his ears rubbed felt quite good.

Talon grinned and pulled back a bit, ignoring all the looks of disdain from those around them. "I'm sure yours are much softer anyway."

He chuckled in agreement, just plain not caring about the looks. The black wolf then spaced out, looking forward to when he'd be getting his ears rubbed by the man. He couldn't quite put his finger on it...But that sounded wrong.

"I want to get in your pants so bad right now." Talon admitted with a sheepish, but sneaky, grin, as he looked down at Yukio for a second. He then looked back up, looking around the mall. "Anywhere else you want to go?"

"My dorm." The canine joked, though it just meant he was done with the mall. By now he was hugging Talon with one arm and his new large plush with the other. This whole 'Relationship' thing wasn't really all that bad. He should try it more often.
