I got a PM from someone wanting me to give a shout out for their guild. It's a roleplaying guild for serious RPers, and HERE is a link to it! biggrin (I much prefer this method of advertising in other guilds to that whole going through the member list thing.) heart

I suppose this may be a bit late by a few days, but Merry Christmas, Yuletide Blessings, and Happy Holidays~
And on the note of the post above... gonk I sooo wanna join that guild but I've way too many roleplays on my plate as is. O__o I needs a job or something, I'm surprised my brain hasn't died yet from obsessive roleplaying, I've had instances where my computer, Koneko, has literally told me no and then shut down on itself. stare I was not amused.

I know how it gets when you really get into roleplaying. I was a co-host in the last annual ball, and I was on Gaia for about 15 hours a day roleplaying. I was afraid I was going to have a seizure or something. rofl This next year, I get to be a host. I have a feeling that I will be in for a doozy of a weekend when the 9th Annual Ball rolls around. blaugh

Hioni-Neko O__O Whoa! XD That's insane! lol~ Is it fun being a host? It's a lot of work, but it's loads of fun. I've realized that I have a tendency to take on a lot of responsibility. I guess I like all the stress or something in some weird way. I own two guilds, and I post in them on a daily basis. I host events in this guild every two or three months, but I don't do anything special in the other guild because we are down to one thread with just a few regulars chatting about anime and videogames. I am also the chairperson of the decorating committee at my church, and that's no small task. So, being a host for the Annual Ball is just another responsibility on my list. I enjoy doing all of this stuff. If I didn't, I'm not sure if I would be doing it or not. And, as far as the 15 hour day went, I was so glued to the story and making the plot flow that it wasn't hard at all! I enjoyed RPing all day long for three days. I only wish that I didn't have to tear myself away from it to give my central nervous system a break. blaugh

I remember in my senior year of highschool with all the college prep crap they were putting us through... I was in Captain and in charge of the JROTC Leads team as well as training new recruits to our battalion with basic marching. I was also on staff as S5 which put me in charge of the bulletin board and weekly newsletter as well as planing the Military ball... school visits, and handling public relations... (uhg... it took me forever to get all the peoples numbers...) And fundraising, though that was mostly on the side... O-o and I live on a farm.... But that's the most I've ever done... and it was only for a year... I didn't do much roleplaying then... and I also didn't have time to draw which I thought was gonna kill me because everytime I had the urge to draw something I had to do paperwork.  Lol Horray for stress junkies!!

I've got a new addiction, I'm back to good old fashioned video games again rofl
My newest addiction is Red Dead Redemption, it's a wild west take on Grand Theft Auto, the story line is great, and the challenges are a lot of fun to try to get as well. Plus you can choose whether or not you wanna be a good guy or a bad guy. I'm doing the good guy thing as much as possible of course, although I have accidentally shot a few people I shouldn't have... oops sweatdrop oh well, I just reloaded anyway.. lol mrgreen

If it were me, I would have to play both ways. It's fun being the bad guy sometimes. rofl I'm actually also playing the first Final Fantasy game. The storyline is lacking, but I heard that the stories don't get really good until FFIV. Aren't video games fun! xd
