Yogtz looked into the wound with a small flashlight. "Oh crap, those things? Those dog things are nasty kupo. They don't look like much, but one bark and you're stunned, then they bite the crap out of you kupo. i've dealt with these things before kupo," he said shuddering at a memory. He turned off the flashlight. "Good news is, the bite didn't damage to much tissue. The muscle should heal as soon as we get rid of this darkness in the area. unfortunately, this means I can't do much without a surgeon with a keyblade kupo" he said sighing.

"Just tell me where to cut." Namine said, summoning her keyblade. "It'll hurt, but I can suffer through it."

Yogzt waved his arms about. "Whoa whoa whoa kupo! Don't do that. You aren't going to perform surgery on yourself. Luckily, we have a former member off my medical staff here. Lawrence can help us kupo," he said.

"Okay." Namine would sigh and recall her weapon, lying down on the bed while still looking at Yogtz. "LAWRENCE!" She yelled into the other room from there.

Yuki jumped at the sudden yell.

Lerana was busy feeding Peppermint to notice.

Yogtz flew back a little bit when Namine yelled. geez kupo, that's some lung capacity you got there, he thought.

Lawrence heard namine's call and stood up. Eric smirked. "Your lady beckons you," he said. Lawrence glared at Eric and walked into the room. He saw Namine covered in bloody wounds and recoiled slightly.
What? You've never seen blood before Kupo?"
"No, It's just not what i expected to see when i walked in. What happened?"
"She said one of those heartless dogs attacked her around the time of last raid kupo,"
"But that raid only had... Oh crap. I know who that dog belongs to,"
"You mean to say we have a feral, heartless dog running around the school biting students and nobody's slain the damned thing kupo?"
"That 'damned thing' ran to our room while we were defending the school and brought us a crate of potions. He belongs to our friend alex,"
"Who's that kupo?"
"Remember that blue haired kid? Well, I don't know why, but now he's a blond and calls himself alex now. He somehow got dominion over that dog that may or may not have bitten her. Why'd you call me in here anyway?"
"You need to perform surgery on her. Darkness infected wounds won't close up. It's why she's been feeling like crap kupo,"
Lawrence nodded and summoned his keyblade. "A scalpel this is not, but it's great at what it does. I'll send Eric out to see if he can find Alex and get an explanation,"
"No time kupo! We have to get this fixed before she gives out and is corrupted,"
Lawrence sighed and readied himself to perform the operation.

Namine held her breath and winced as she anticipated what was going to be cut and when.

Lawrence put on a surgical mask and took a moment to steady his breath. 'I was actually chewing Eric out for doubting my abilities in this earlier. Now I'm nervous as all hell,"
"Cut the cursing kupo, there's a lady present,"
"Chivalrous surgeon Yogtz," Lawrence said rolling his eyes. "Just put her under,"
"I don't have any anesthetic kupo. You're in this one raw,"
"Why didn't you bring any?"
"Because i was expecting a simple checkup, not impromptu surgery kupo. Not quit whining and do your keyblade thing kupo," Yogtz said. Lawrence approached Namine.
"alright Namine. This may hurt," he said slightly nervously.

"Just hurry up and do this before I think otherwise." Namine said, closing her eyes. "Please be careful."

Lawrence focused his energy into a ball of light at the end of his keyblade. "May the gods guide my hand," he whispered to himself. Yogtz put a cloth on the area surrounding one wound. Lawrence focused the light ball into a steady beam, which he pointed toward the dark area of the wound. The darkness began fading from the wound. Yogtz pulled a piece of leather, a needle, and a spool from his doctor's bag. "Nice job Kupo," he said as he began to thread the needle. Lawrence maintained his focus as the light began to purge the darkness from Namine's body.

Namine screamed as she could feel the darkness in her wounds burn as hot as ever.

Lawrence struggled to stay on target through namine's screams. The light burned bright on her body. Yogtz shielded his eyes.
This shouldn't be taking this long. Am I to weak to save her? lawrence thought.

The darkness inside of the wounds would begins to falter, then fade back to a discolored skin color, looking pale compared with Namine's skin tone. The girl herself was on the verge as she tried to stay still for Lawrence.

"We got it kupo, she's fine," Yogtz said relieved. Lawrence redirected his energy to retract the beam from his keyblade. When the light faded, he was exhausted and his hands had multiple small cuts and burns. Lawrence fell to one knee, balancing himself on his weapon.
"Thank goodness. One more minute of that and I would've passed out," he said tiredly. "Stitch her up Yogtz. i need to track someone down and find some answers. As soon as I can stand that is," Lawrence sat down on the ground. Yogtz gave Namine the piece of leather.
"Bite down on this kupo, you've got one more painful thing to come and then you'll be better within the week kupo," He said soaking a rag in hydrogen peroxide.

Namine weakly bit down on the piece of cloth, blinking back a steady stream of tears slowly making their way down the cheek.

Yuki poked his head in the room, busy looking at Lawrence and Yogtz.

Peppermint was now finished with his food, and was barking anxiously, whining at Eric. He seemed worried for Namine.

Yogtz placed the peroxide covered rag over Namine's wound. The peroxide bubbled up as it began killing whatever bacteria was in the wound. "Be strong, this is going to sting a lot kupo," he said. Once the bubbles faded and the needle was sterilized, Yogtz began stitching Namine's wound shut.
