lilchibiusa Wow. It sure did slow down in here. I'm still bogged down with school junk, so I have to really try hard to concentrate and stay off of Gaia. We should seriously have a party when I get back. I'm also just going to throw this out there. We've had alot of new people join us since last year, so what do you think about re-doing the front page banner? The problem is that we have several valuable members that aren't around much anymore that I want to include. I would really like to get them back and get them active, but some of that's just wishful thinking. So, what do you think? Should we update the banner with new avi's or should we just make a generic banner that we won't ever have to update? Yay!! I am totally up for having a new banner yeah I know I haven't been on much lately but with the summer starting out I will be more often and I heard Twigirl say she is as well and there should be no problem getting a hold of Dewshine and nagging her till she post more lol! yay! yay! for new banner! 3nodding biggrin whee wink heart 4laugh blaugh xd

I'm still a newb, so maybe I shouldn't weigh in on this, but I like the banner we have now that has everybody's tekteks on it, and I love the idea of updating it to include more recent members! whee

@Alvinette - You're hardly a newb anymore. wink
I'm glad to see some old faces back here, and I'm glad that the new banner idea is getting so much support! xd Considering the activity level of this guild, it might be a little difficult to get new avi's for each month to make a new banner. However, we could always reuse some old ones. I only have Microsoft Paint to do image editing with, so I am kind of limited on what I can do. Dew was did our previous two front page banners, but I don't know if she will be able to do another one right now or not. I haven't seen her around in a while. In any case, I'm not even going to think about getting a new banner done until after I finish my last final on May 4th. However, you can go ahead and be thinking about what kind of avi you want to submit. I know that we had some confusion before, but I think it would be best to do a tektek with only the items that you own. Try to make an avi that looks like something that you normally have so that everyone can recognize you. Turning yourself into some weird tentacle monster wouldn't be a good idea, that is, unless you're Diablos (and he normally does that kind of thing, so he would be easily recognized). Anyway, you don't have to worry about picking your avi at this moment, but you can be thinking of one. I'm going to be posting a new thread in a couple of weeks for everyone to post their avi's in. We might also need to consider what we are doing for the background. Does the Greek theme work with everyone, or would you rather do something different for the summer?

Well, I can't speak for anyone else, of course, but I like the Greek theme. As for tekteks, I have a couple that might work:   I dunno. Which one do y'all think is the most recognizable as "me"? *shrugs* Oh, "and now for something completely different": I finally took my comprehensive exam today! So now I'm that much closer to getting my Master's degree. All I have to do is finish and defend my thesis. Well, provided, of course, that I actually passed the stupid comprehensive exam. xp

You can be on it. biggrin I told Li-Mei earlier something like a hundred posts, but that might be overdoing it a bit. I'm just trying to avoid having several people that no one has ever heard of (because they never post) on the banner. If you look through our member list, about have the people have fewer than five posts. But yeah, I definitely remember you, so you're good. 3nodding I will also probably need to get my computer fixed before I can do any image editting on it. I can put avi's on background pictures as long as I save them as the correct file type. Otherwise, it doesn't work too well. I can't do many things with Paint, but I can at least do that much. I've also learned how to set the lettering that that it overlaps and kind of makes a 3-D effect, but the program certainly doesn't make it easy for me.
@Alvinette - I was thinking the red one before, but now I'm leaning towards the purple one. I just have a thing for the gothic butterfly. lol

I like both of your avis' but I think I have to agree with Chibi on the darker one 3nodding
