Yup. Born on the 16th. My best friend's is actually on the 4th of July. She likes it cause she gets fireworks. But Chibi, you're right, everyone wants to be acknowledged on your birthday. It always kinda sucks when people just... re-gift or don't even say a 'happy birthday.' If I could, I'd celebrate holidays weeks after the actual holiday.... Just because everything is THAT much cheaper. Think about buying christmas presents AFTER christmas!! How much would you possibly save?!?

PocketEko Valentine's Day. We have never gotten along. It's more because my birthday is two days after it... so it's just annoying for someone really close to me to spend more time thinking about Valentine's day stuff as opposed to my birthday... Or to just lump the two. They're two separate holidays. One, I prefer to celebrate... One, I do not. Wonder which one I prefer to celebrate.... O.O

Alvinette and I always say that we're going to boycott Valentine's Day and watch a bunch of slashers or something, but I always end up watching sappy chick flicks. Strangely, she doesn't seem too opposed to Valentine's Day this year. confused This is random, but we have a guild member who quit Gaia whose birthday is on Valentine's Day. Does anyone remember gambit_ct?

Slashers!? I thought it was action movies with multiple butt-kickings, shootings, and explosions. *shrugs* Strangely enough, after my boyfriend (now my ex--I finally decided to break up with him in August after he continually avoided me, all the while telling me he liked me) blew me off on Valentine's Day last year to go out with his mother and their neighbor (both of whom he sees every day, and goes and does stuff with all the time), something inside of me snapped, and I decided that I was not going to be bitter about Valentine's Day anymore. I decided to stop moaning about the fact that I never get to go on a date that day and that Valentine's Day is supposedly for "couples." I was so miserable last year that this year I decided that I'm going to have a good day by myself. I don't care about not having a date. You don't need one to enjoy good chocolate and pretty red decorations. (Red is my favorite color.) So...yeah. In a weird way, I have my ex--who wanted to have nothing to do with me on Valentine's Day--for breaking me out of the "I Hate Valentine's Day" cycle. I'm just so tired of wasting my time being bitter and not enjoying life.

I don't know how I'll feel Valentine's Day. I'm usually real lonely on that day too. Not so bad as everyone else, since I'm lonely all the time anyway, but...It's still there. It all depends on what goes on with Tealie and how much lovey dovey bullshit goes on in the corners at my school. At least, on Monday.
Regardless of what anybody says, I'm going to get on Xbox Live, and make fun of everyone there for not having a date. Then when they counter back, I'll make a whiney noise and cry and say, "I know gonk " ...be sure to throw a tantrum and give up all hope. Because you're gonna suck. I'm messing with formats and hex colors at the moment. And edited this post multiple times as such. >_>

I was thinking about a kissing booth or a blind date game, but I have to keep in mind that there are a lot more girls in the guild than guys. I'm still trying to work out the scoring systems. I'm also going to do a writing contest about bashing Valentine's Day. On the other side, I will also have another writing thing for the romantics. heart I'm going to do a tektek contest as always, and we are going to dress up for the different aspects of Valentine's Day. I'm also planning on doing a raffle or a random number game or both. heart
I like playing with hex codes. I used to have two websites that I coded all by myself until Geocities shut down. xp
9900CC was always one of my favorites. I also loved to use FFCCFF.

I'm so incredibly nervous that I think I'm going to be sick. I have to present two poems for everyone in the class to critique in my creative writing class tomorrow. xp I wasn't even this nervous when I presented my seminar paper! crying
