Well, hopefully I can help distract people from the woes of Valentine's Day with games and prizes. blaugh
Oh! Did I tell you that I was asked by some ladies at church to join their knitting group? They want to teach me how to knit! I'm planning on trying, but I don't know how well I can do at it. sweatdrop But when they started talking about it, I immediately thought of your mad knitting skills. lol

That sounds like so much fun!! You should totally do it. Knitting is so addicting! heart As for my knitting, I wouldn't say that I have "mad skills," but thanks for the compliment! whee

Typing the word "sage" in a 4chan imageboard causes the thread to move down the list. A sticky can't be saged. So, fail sage.

You're a 4chaner? eek gonk xp (For anyone who doesn't know, 4-chan is where most internet memes are born, but it is also the cesspool of the internet, although some would argue that it is the life force of the internet. The things that you will see there are wrong on so many levels, and will literally give you nightmares and or make you vomit. EVERYTHING is allowed (including porn), except for child pornography. Trust me; just stay away.

A casual chonnor. Or, was. Don't go there anymore - too many stupid kids. There used to be CP there, actually. Reported the last thread that had it, and it got taken off in a hurry.

Ethereal Darkness 18 days! D8

And lol what's wrong with being a 4channer? [Or even a Misc'er] It's just that what goes on at 4chan is reprehensible, and I'm sad to see people being dragged down into that filth. My brother used to be a /b/tard. xp Yeah... sweatdrop Some of the things he told me about it were too sick for words.

I usually wind up at home watching TV, so it's just like just another day instead of being a holiday (except that when you turn on the TV, there are sappy movies on practically every channel!). But this year I am planning on going to my church's Valentine's Day banquet just to have something to do. Even though I don't have a date or even the prospect of one, I am going to have fun this year, doggone it! sweatdrop

Valentine's Day. We have never gotten along. It's more because my birthday is two days after it... so it's just annoying for someone really close to me to spend more time thinking about Valentine's day stuff as opposed to my birthday... Or to just lump the two. They're two separate holidays. One, I prefer to celebrate... One, I do not.
Wonder which one I prefer to celebrate.... O.O

Poor Eko, my sister has a similar problem, her birthday is Jan 4th, so she follows Christmas and New Years... I understand SOME people find it convenient to just use leftover holiday stuff for b-day gifts to people who's b-days shortly follow a holiday, but that's not right confused

My birthday is on Groundhog Day, but fortunately it is not a big enough holiday for it to interfere with my birthday. Actually, it actually helps people remember my birthday. biggrin
I have a friend whose birthday is on Christmas Eve. This year, everyone except for one of her friends forgot her birthday. Even I did. sad I did buy her a present and give it to her later though. But still, you always want to be acknowledged on your birthday.
