Personality: Yami a mysterious girl. Most of the time she's outgoing yet calm, happy to be who she is. Though, as all faeries do, she has a cruel and curiously mischeivous side at times. Some people would say she has a split personality, but she would call it 'her hobby.'
History: Yami was born in a forest to two very in love, and passionate parents. Her father was elvish and her mother was a seductress faerie. Her birth-giver was a tempting creature and despite the laws against elvish and faerie intermingling, she was drawn to the boy.
One day she drew him into treetrunk her home by disguising herself as an elvish woman, he followed her silently. Her eyes were so mesmerizing he couldn't help but enter. After three lustful nights of lovemaking and banter she revealed her true self to him and at first he was disgusted by her attempts to seduce him through dishonesty but it was too late now, he was utterly in love with her.
He stayed in her home for many many months and nine later she gave birth to a beautiful, unlawful, baby girl. They tried to hide their daughter, in fear of the consequences. The law was made to keep each species, both elvish and faerie, pure and untainted by reproduction between the two. They were both very prideful races and took this law very, very seiously. The punishment, death.
As Yumi grew the troubles also grew. It became increasingly harder to hide her. One fateful day in the dead of winter, as the snow fell around, Yumi was no longer a secret. She had wandered off and was found by a group of elvish warriors and taken into captivity. Her parents were hunted down and slaughtered for their sins and her fate remained undecided for many, many years.
Amongst her own kind
she was treated like a disease, a burden, but she was adopted into the community nonetheless. When she was fourteen years it was decided it owuld be best to send her away to live in a place for where she would be accepted. A school for all the freaks. She was banished and sent to the place with nothing but her shame to carry on her shoulders. She remains there to this day.
