[Lair Argyra]

Tarot looked at Koru, wondering what he was doing. The giant enchanted armor lifted its huge heavy sword as if going to salute back, but it kept going higher.

"Koru! Watch out!"

The giant blade went down fast, blasting a wave of energy, dust, and rubble in Koru's direction. However none of it reached him. In front of Koru there is some sort of magical barrier stopping the wave from hitting him. Tarot is behind Koru holding out two cards.

"Are you nuts?! That thing has been enchanted by chaos! It does not reason."

At the throne room, the bat keeps flying so fast it looks like a dozen bats flying around.

"Heero!" Carrie calls out. "Now would be a good time to use any of your moves! We can barely keep up with it if it keeps attacking like this."

"I guess now's the time!"
Heero draws back his sword as if ready to stab the air
"Light-Bringer don't fail me now...!"
and with great force thrusts his Sword foward as the shape of daggers begin to take form  

[KoruKinshi]

Koru had watched carefully to see the armor's reaction, but was unnerved when it raised it's sword higher. As it came crashing down, Koru leapt back on instinct, ready to evade the attack when he saw the wave of energy stop behind an invisible wall.

He looked back at Tarot, looking slightly embarrased. "Can't be right all the time, I suppose."

Looking forward again to the armor, frowning as he sized it up. "All right, then...we do this the usual way."

He brandished his sword, and with a war cry, he swung it from the ground up, releasing his own wave of white energy that raced toward the hulking suit of armor. Koru quickly followed suit, ready to react to the armor's next reaction.  

[Lair Argyra]

Heero's attack produces several bright daggers that fly toward the bat, pestering him and provoking it to stop from moving so fast. Once again it can be seen as a single bat, but more upset. Carrie tosses a vial of holy water near it, which bursts into blue flames. The bat is caught in flames and flies right through the ceiling, leaving a hole behind, screeching loudly into the darkness of the night.

"I don't think that will keep it away for long, and that was my last vial of holy water. Let's use this time to recover and prepare for its next attack."


Koru's attack results much powerful than he expected. A blast of white energy knocks the Guard off balance, and its helmet off its head. When the light dissipates, Tarot yells "What the Heck?!"

The Guard stands, with a huge mace in his hand, instead of the huge sword. His bare head is that of a horse. While swinging his mace for an attack, it starts to sing.

"A horse is a horse, of course of course,
And this one will talk 'til his voice is hoarse.
You never heard of a talking horse?
Well, listen to this...

I am Mister Hed"

Heero sheathes the Light-Bringer as it returns to it's original state, but keeps a ready hand on it at all times for when the bat makes its return  

[Ryuzki Hygaea]

Spike sets Carrie down and readies his sword. "We have one shot at this so lets pin the bat down so we can finish it off in one strike."  

[KoruKinshi]

Koru ground his feet to a halt, watching the armor fall back, losing it's helmet. He raised his eyebrow as he saw the mace change...and the true face of the armor underneath.

He was perplexed to say the least. "Well that's different..."

. o O ( Since when does your creator have a sense of humor... )

As the mace came down to strike him, he darted quickly past the armor's legs, putting great strength behind his blade, slashing across the rear of the armor's legs.  

[Lair Argyra]

(Having a child sure makes me busier than ever. Let's get this over with)

Mr Hed's leg cracks with Koru's fierce attack, collapsing the horse knight under its own weight. It neighs loudly in pain, unable to get back up. Tarot runs past the horse and Koru toward the door to the next room.

"It won't be able to follow us. Let's go quickly, before Dracula kills our comrades!"

She opens the door to the Chaos Core and heads in.


Carrie bandages her most critical wounds, getting ready for the next assault.
"Ok, Spike, what's the plan?"  

[Ryuzki Hygaea]

Spike looks at the bat while talking to Carrie. "Its fast movements make it a hard target to hit but if we wait for a opening we can pin it down giving us time to finish it off the moment Koru and Tarot are done with their end." He then looks around the room. "My ice prison spell can trap it but it might fail or the bat will break free...We need to use something in here to trap it completely preventing it from moving or attacking."

(i was starting to wonder if something had happened)
Heero looks about the room with Spike while still keeping an occassional watch at the hole that Bat had made in it's flee
"Is it possible to drop a Chandellier on it and then imprison it within the Ice?"  

[Ryuzki Hygaea]

Spike looks at Heero and nods. "That would work but we need someone else to cast the ice spell." He then looks at Carrie. "You are of Belnades descent correct..magic is in your blood...I'll teach you the spell but it will have to be quick so we can have it ready before the bat returns."

((Congratulations! smile Great to hear you started a family. A hell of a way to start the new year, heh. At least now I know why everything has been at a standstill.))

Koru looked over quickly at the fallen creature, redirecting his view to the final door, resheathing his blade as he moved quickly behind Tarot.

As he passed through, the hilt and sheath of his blade crackled violently along with the white aura that had surrounded him once he entered the dimension. It was an obvious reaction...and a memory to the force that inhabited this place.

"We made it," he said to Tarot, looking at her momentarily. "It's time to end this."

He looked forward, drawing his blade as it angrily sparked.

"It hasn't been long enough," he said...seemingly talking at nothing. "Let's dance one more time, you and I..."  

[Lair Argyra]

Once inside the Chaos Core, Koru and Tarot find themselves walking on an unstable surface that looks like dark water, yet they do not sink in it. The embodiment of chaos emerges from the dark water in the form of a giant serpentine dragon. It replies with a deep, yet feminine voice.
"Not long enough, indeed. I do not dance with children. Leave, and come back when you are fully grown!"


Carrie replies to Spike.
"All right, let's do it!"  

[Ryuzki Hygaea]

Spike nods and looks at Heero. "Buy as much as time as you can so Carrie can learn the spell." He then looks at Carrie. "Focus and picture the element that you want to use, imagine its power flowing through you. Now for this spell you need to think of a ice prison trapping your foe with in." He then sighs. "Its a basic spell for most but it took me a while to learn it properly but for you....it will be easy to master thanks to your bloodline."  

[Lair Argyra]

Carrie listens to Spike and nods. She begins to concentrate and extends her hands forward. Spike can now see his own breath as the area surrounding them becomes colder. Carrie winces, breaking her concentration. Her hands are covered in frost.

"Arrgh... I covered my own hands in frost!"
