We used to live within viewing distance of the capital when we sat on our roof... could watch the fireworks from the capital or the state fair grounds with ease...
We now are a lot smarter and live were it is warm...

A friend of mine grew up on the bluffs overlooking the Mississippi. Afforded a great view of the fireworks.
I'm hoping to someday get someplace warmer as well, but at the moment, my gaming group is there.... mrgreen

I got so much of a workout and didnt even have to drive to the gym!
no gas money, and no gym fee!
And anyhow, I dont have to shovel now days.
Grandpa loves plowing and my friends have plows.
Hell if I would have asked Dustin he would have came down and snow plowed that mess for me too XD lol
