Felwair eventually made it to the middle class market. He waved Chiyuki out of the tunnel before walking out himself, the ice breaking into shards behind him. Taking a quick look at the sky. It was riddled with stars of thousands of colors. And the Moon! It was twice as big as the one circling Earth. Crowds of people were roaming the streets, seeing as, even as the stars were out, the Sun was still setting. They would leave to their homes soon enough, that was for sure. "If we're to find your assistant, we'll have to move quickly. By nightfall, scavengers might take him.", he said. Blegh, Scavengers! They took any kids off the streets, even if they're with their parents. From there, Gods know what happens to them. "I'll check any stores that may sell knives. Can you describe the kid for me?", Felwair asked. Searching for someone he didn't really know was a quite a hard thing to do.

Felwair nodded, running off to search for Ozborne. He searched for quite a bit and by the time he returned, the Moon was beginning its descent. "No sign of him here, we should try the next market. It's a 10 minute walk.", he said calmly. Street lamps flickered on, illuminating the streets with a shower of golden light. Set and ready, he began his trek to the upper class market. It would be empty by now, all the rich folks having gone home to their warm beds. Light snows began to float from the Heavens, landing everywhere.

He didn't even steal any wallets or jewels. Vorlich was solely focused on the prize set before him. Who ever these people were, they came to the wrong place to bring something of value. A party of 7 members walked through the ashes of the middle class market, mindful to not dirty their white robes. As soon as Volrich made a swoop towards them, the 6 members surrounding the middle member drew and thrust their swords towards him in a uniform style. Though they didn't speak, having no tongues let alone mouths to speak, the message couldn't be clearer. Back off or lay your life down. The small girl in the center of the circle, stayed in the center of the circle, carrying an elaborately carved box, made of ivory.

Vorlich had no clue as to who these guys were but they didn't like to play nice. He took note on their movements and when blades went in his direction, he stepped back with his hands up. Though Vorlich did a peek at the object and he loved it. the only question was how to get it...or better yet...replace what was inside. The boy bowed and melted back into crowd, though he stayed close to the group. If I take the box, then it'll be obvious that a thief did it. I need to wait and take whats inside. That alone also holds ******** if I care! That thing will be mine!! Vorlich thought to himself. He rolled in the idea of being the most infamous thief in all of Azcelt. This was just the first step.

The party gave a unison grumble and one turned to the center person, forming signs. He turned to face front, and the party began to walk down the street faster. Some of the people scrounging about in the ashes of the marketplace lifted their heads curiously. This gift had to make it to the king today at all costs, for if it was given tomorrow, it would be too late.

Vorlich watched as the pace of the group picked up. This wasn't good and the number of scavengers left in the area and usable cover was ill-suited. Upon walking a bit behind the group, a piece of a burned structure fell and caused a small ash cloud. That gave him an idea. He only needed a few seconds to open the lock and replace what was inside. Ash was horrid on the eyes and lungs. These guys didn't have mouths so eyes had to do. Frontal confrontation was something Vorlich avoided but this unavoidable. The thief pulled up his hood and mask and put on goggles. Grasping his blade, he waited til the group was around broken and burned building. They were easy to break into large pieces...large enough to make a significant cloud.

When it came to act, Vorlich spun and broke a support beam, Dashed to the other side to do the same behind the escorts. Staying out of reach of the guards, he repeated this in front of the group. Vorlich stood in a bit front of the group and waited as the structures collapsed and sent up a large cloud of ash and dust into the air. "Gotcha".

The party fell unknowingly into the trap. Ash caked itself in their eyes and they tried to get it out, tears blurring their vision. It took them long enough that a thief of sorts could do some risky business. In the middle of the group, the woman holding the box began to cough violently, proving she was human. Later she would indeed see Volrich and ask why, before collapsing on the ground.

Vorlich waited til the time was right then dashed in for his prize. Upon hearing the girls question, he merely shrugged his shoulders. "The poor gotta eat." He was surprised when she collapsed onto the ground. Taking a look at the Lock Box, He knew exactly what kind of lock and immediately began to open. Once opened, Vorlich spent no time on looking what he was taking. Switching out the prize with one of his knives, Vorlich locked the box back up. This girl was human and kinda cute, it would be a shame if she was harmed in this mess, so the Thief pulled her out. Setting her down outside the cloud, Vorlich turned and hightailed it out of there. No sense in sticking around for long.

As the party recovered, the soon realized the girl was gone and searched for her frantically. After finding her, they seemed to calm down slightly before their anger was ignited. the item was gone! Quickly, the party's leader used signs to order his men to hunt down the thief. They spread out as the man gently picked up the girl, putting her over his shoulder to break an orb made of glass. As it shattered, a portal to Riverdram opened and the man carried the girl through, exiting the scene to bring her to the hospital. She would need it, mainly because though she was human, she had very poor lungs due to her heritage.
