Nyx

Nate

Nyx walked along the little dirt path in the large forest. It was nearing midnight.
She sighed and jumped into a large willow tree.

Nate followed Nyx quietly. When she sighed he looked up at her and saw her jump into a tree, Nate quickly followed. He looked at her as if to ask what was wrong, but she didn't answer.

Nyx laid down on the large branch she was on.

Iolani Avis

Iolani flew above the trees of a large forest, eyes scanning the forest floor for anything that might be considered food.
She found nothing resembling food, but saw two people in a tree. Having not interacted with others in such a long time, her first instinct was to hide. Landing slowly, wings beating only slightly, she lands on the top of a tree, distanced slightly away behind the figures. Unfortunately, the branch couldn't hold her weight and it cracked. Knowing it'd given away her position, she flew up high in the air again, watching the branch crash to the ground. Instinct set to flee, she flew the slight distance towards the tree that serves as her current home. With her senses, she could hear the reactions of the two.

Nate

Nate looked alarmed. He stood on his branch, his claws coming out of his regular fingernails. He let out a low guttural growl. Then he looked down at Nyx.

Nyx rolled her eyes at his overreaction. "It's just a half-breed..." She said flapping her wings once and landing gracefully on the branch. She grabbed Nate by his collar and took him to the edge of the tree. She pointed to the fallen branch. Then she pointed over into the distance.

Iolani Avis

Startled, listening to them, Iolani flinched from where she was perched, her eyes seeing clearly what was happening from the distance. Always finding it hard to trust someone, she debated moving on. She had hoped she might be able to finally settle somewhere, but if she was going to cause problems for someone... "Ah, sorry, i guess." she muttered lightly, voice slightly hoarse and english stuttered, she hadn't used it in a while. Spreading her wings, she took off in a graceful arc.

Nyx looked up hearing the slight mutter. Nyx spread her wings and flew into the sky, leaving flightless Nate on the ground.

"Nyx..." Nate muttered in annoyance. 'She's always doing this, leaving me on the ground....' Nate thought to himself. He sat down impatiently on the tree branch.

Nate looked below him and jumped down landing only a few feet from where he heard the dog whine. He looked down. His red eyes looked down at him.

Nyx looked down at the ground, she looked for Nate but couldn't see him. She turned her attention downward leaving the half-breed by herself in the sky. Nyx flew down to the ground next to Nate.

Nyx exchanged glances with Nate before nodding. She extended a hand towards the wolf. A black mist came from her fingertips and floated into the wolf's body, the stain of blood faded back into his body. They both looked expectantly at the wolf, waiting for him to open his eyes.

Nate narrowed his eyes, seeing that this wolf was much larger than a regular one. He kept his guard up.

Nyx looked down at the wolf, his eyes were oddly colored. Her expression didn't change though.

Nate also looked down, his eyes never changing. Their expressions required an answer from the wolf on who he is.

Nyx folded her wings on her back and stepped forward. She outstretched her hand to the wolf.
