Your favorite medium?

Hello!

Sooo... as the topic says, what is your favorite medium to work with? And, what's your least favorite?

I like the good 'ole pencil and paper... and colored pencils. x3 I love my Prismacolor ones... even though I only have 20 colors. But, they're wonderful.

And my Canon Powershot G7 I got last year... it's kinda like a SLR/point-and-click hybrid. No, I don't Photoshop any of my photos... I'm too poor for that.

My least favorite is watercolor... mostly because of the clean up, but also because I could never get the right consistency with water-to-paint. My mom loves it though.

I dabble in all sorts of mediums...
I used to do a lot in high-quality ink pen, before I started carrying pencils, then I mainly used a simple writing pencil, and I have now mostly moved on to colored pencils.
Of course, the whole time I'm still using a relatively low-quality (but extremely durable and waterproof) digital camera, and using Photoshop and The Gimp for computer generated graphics. (A long time ago, I also used to use Bryce 5 for 3D stuff.)

My least favorite medium?
Well, I hardly ever do anything with any kind of paint; its just too messy, too hard to transport, and compared to pencils, difficult to work with. Perhaps I should though, it would give better results.

Standard pencil and paper, while also, Photoshop for computer graphics. Pencil just seems to be the easiest for me when it comes to drawing, and I personally dislike inking because I would probably do a horrible job of it. Photoshop is a major hobby of mine, and I'm on it almost everyday.

My least favorite would have to be paint. I hate making art with it because it tends to look horrible.

Pencil and paper without any computer programs. My hand's much steadier on paper than it is with a mouse. I can paint fairly well too with acrylic and water color. I like using colored pencils, too.

I hate using just about anything else.

I'm a fan of oil based paints, I like the thicker more vivid coloring. But for things like fanart color pencils are the best, I think, since I can't afford photoshop. sweatdrop

I like using normal pencial and paper. I'm rubbish at using a mouse on the computer, so I usually stick with traditional art. Watercolors is hard for me, it always runs too much. Prismacolor pencials are probably my altogether favorite. <3

I like pen and ink, water colour, and digital media with a tablet. I work occasionally with acrylics, oils, and dry-brush gauche. And I love doing gesture drawings with vine charcoal.

Without a doubt pencil and paper, mostly mechanical pencil alot better and easier to work with for me at least. The if i like the drawing, into photoshop it goes and out comes my tablet XD ^_^ wonderful wonderful

as for least favorite well that would be anykind of paint, i just am never good with it at all, and its to messy and makes me really frustriated in the end XD, oh not to mention chalk and pastel are on my least favorite list as well.

i used to be huge on traditional media, then i got my mac and Tablet, and i've been stuck on digital. so really i have three faves, Pencil+paper+ink+prisma, Macbookpro+Wacom Intuos 6x8 tablet, and sculpting, though i can't do it much anymore (it's hard finding a good medium Xo ), i love it smile

And LEAST liked media? Charcoal pecils XS I hate the way they feel as your drawing with them DX

Hmm. Favorite medium for me has to be acrylic and oil paint. Not at the same time though, that'll ruin the painting. I think it's just because they're so versatile, and mistakes are easily cleaned up with a dab of the right colour. I also love using software like GIMP, Photofiltre and classic Paint.

My least favorite has to be crayon and pencil crayon. I hate the amount of blending you have to get to get the proper tones that don't come in-box.

[]I like mechanical pencil, .02 lead. (or maybe it's just .2, I can never remember) I like to use indian rubber black ink and a quill sometimes, I usually use the turkey feather quill that I made myself. I heart my watercolor pencils ^_^ heart heart heart

I also use a mechanical pencil for most of my sketches. But my absolute favorite medium in the world to use would definitely have to be conte! I just love how everything turns out plus I believe that my best piece come out when I do them in conte.

My least favorite would have to be paint only become I am horrible at them. I am seriously so bad at them that anything I do in paint I hide or throw away.
