Welcome to Gold For Gaians!
We're commonly referred to as GFG for short. We have tons of awesome members that totally don't bite considering you follow our rules. We promise.

Now, let's just get something straight here.. we've had many people join this guild under the impression/assumption that we will greet you with mounds of gold and rare items and a welcome parade. A regular, now a crew member, put it in very clear terms for everyone:

Why join GFG?
GFG is a hangout guild for the most part. We've got lots of people that post threads about their day or just anything at all. But it's not just all chatting; we've also got guild events which include a ton of contests, allowing you to win some great prizes!

What kind of contests are there?
All of our events have more than one contest, so you should be able to find something you enjoy. In the past we've had avatar contests, drawing contests, scavenger hunts, and most-creative-answer-to-a-question contests!
Usually, we have events on holidays (like a Christmas event, Halloween event, Easter event, etc ...)
Our creative crew members always find some cool ways to celebrate a holiday or just any random occasion. :3



There is always a ton of conversation,
so you'll certainly find something to contribute to. Along with many random topics in the main forum, we've got 6 subforums for any topics that fit there.

the mini-mart | a place to post your quest thread, sell items, buy items ...


the land of roleplaying | a place to roleplay

forum games | a place with tons of games to play

guild events | where guild events/contests are held

life issues | a place to ask for advice or help on a life issue

entertainment | discuss the latest movies, television, computer games, anime, and much more!

We encourage all members to check subforums daily and post in them as much as they can!




Secret Donation Fairies
Secret Donation Fairies are these spiffy little fairies that fly around the forums of Gold for Gaians and donate randomly to the members. If you'd like to learn more about Secret Donation Fairies go here.

We have clear, easy-to-obey rules found in this thread. However, if you are not a member of the guild, you cannot view the rules because the guild is a hidden guild.

If you would like to donate to the guild, please send a trade to omg charity mule
All donations are used to fund contests. They may be used for other reasons, as well.


BEFORE YOU REQUEST TO JOIN
The most important thing is to understand that we are not a guild that hands you money and then you leave.
Please do not join, beg for gold, complain when it's not given to you, and then leave.
Our guild in a sense, teaches fun ways to get gold.
In your join request as well as in the guild, please try to be somewhat literate. You will get more respect if you do.
In your join request, you should not have something like "i would like to join!!!!" Tell us something about yourself. BEING LITERATE/SEMI-LITERATE IS A PLUS as many of our members are literate, but it's not a requirement.
