It is with regret and deep frustration that we are forced to move the main Guild off of Gaia. It has been nearly two years since any significant attention or update to Gaia Guilds has taken place and the fact is that an active and multi forumed guild such as ours cannot hope to maintain proper traffic without new post notifications and such. Not to mention the ability to mass message members has never existed. So we could never announce wagers, major news or simple competitions. Gaia has ignored appeals for just such tools for over two years.
Consequently, we have opened an Invision board away from Gaia, that with time will have games, blogs, e-money to wager with and the basic ability to message friends , search topics and see all new posts.

This guild is intended to be the home of all those who love Football, follow a club or country side, coach, manage or play. Whether you spell it Football , Futbol, Footy, Calcio. The single most popular game in the world lives here.
At the minute we have Boards for Arsenal, Chelsea, Man U, Liverpool and Newcastle. We hope to justify creating more such boards if there is a proper demand. Spanish speaking members now have a board of their own in which to converse in their own language, so now we are even more International . Los miembros de habla hispana ahora tienen un tablero sus el propios en las cuales conversar en su propia lengua, somos aún más internacionales tan ahora.
As an extra added bonus we have a space for sports like Cricket and Rugby amongst others as well as an informal pub where you can discuss life , art telly or music and a humour board. You'd be right to say there is a definitive Brit , Euro , Austral-Asian , Latin feel, and that is intentional. When you stop in at the guild, you are travelling the world.
That said, A word to our American and Canadian friends: Please don't use the word "soccer", we know which football you mean. It's been Football for over a century in the rest of the world, and calling it by it's proper given name, a simple matter of respect.
Novice or veteran, in a friendly informed atmosphere, tell us why your team is the best , explain in great detail why you are right, and we are wrong, but be prepared to defend your point of view in an intelligent way. Take your time when posting , we want long posts.
Wind up merchants and trouble makers beware, we don't want you or need you. It's ok to get passionate , we want that , but cross the line and you are gone
One last thing, there are no stupid questions, we all started somewhere. Members with an answer will be happy to help you.
We do give prizes to competition winners, but global guild settings do not allow us to spend guild gold on anything but sub-forums, so if you wish to donate gold or items for prizes, please PM Toon_Shay for further details.
