too afraid to speak,
Afraid to feel too new,
afraid to be called weak.

She'd scream while taking a shower,
saying she'd seen a monster.
Real monsters! Oh help!
People thought she was a bother.

Arnold could've helped her.
CatDog and Rocko, too.
The fact that they’d been cancelled,
makes everything else seem too crude.

Children these days settle
for cartoons’ mediocrity.
But we know that nothing quite the same
will ever capture their past reality.
