From my experience.... You'll need at least one fully buffed crew of six people to defeat Alien 19

Some things that have helped me during the event...

Tip 1: Coordinate Rings with Your Crew

• Discuss with one another rings to bring to buff up, or rings that temporarily increase the stats of your crew members. If the crew is missing a couple of the rings it's ok, work together with other crews in the area to help eachother out! Usually I bring two rings that would qualify as buffs, and then the rest of my build is things like ranged damage and heals.
  
  Some buff examples...
  

Tip 2: Select a Populated Server!

• When you first log into zOMG you'll see a message over the server selection window that scrolls text. If you wait long enough you'll see the text scroll by of how many people are online on that server.
  
  Keep in mind that number doesn't guarantee everyone will be at Bill's Ranch specifically on that server, but its a start if you're looking for more people.
  
  (Also like I said earlier: The UFO can be defeated with a crew of 6. Its just that the more people fighting her the faster the battle will go 3nodding )
  

Tip 3: 19 is on the move!

• Alien 19 moves around the map right after she appears! gaia_zurg But if you look on the minimap you can see there's an icon indicating where she's at. Coordinate with the people on the map and ask questions if you can't find her right away.

A mysterious UFO appeared in Bill's Ranch and is wreaking havoc!  Why is it here?  What does it want?  Visit the alien by the fountain in Barton Town to find out!

** In order to collect the quest reward, you must talk to Alien 19 at Barton Town first! ***

When does the event start and end?

The event starts on October 30th and will persist through November 10th with the UFO frequently visiting Bill's Ranch.  After that, expect to still encounter the UFO but at a much lower frequency.

Is there a minimum level required to play?  Do I need to grind?

The event is capped at only CL 2.0, which means even new players can participate.  This requirement will change after November 10th.

What prizes are involved?

Participating in the event will grant you Gaia gold, charge orbs, as well as some event prizes from past Zurg events.  Completing the event quest will also grant a coveted zOMG ring!

I have a question though. In the ATS last week on 10/31, you said you'd be adjusting the 30k Plat cap. Is what we have now the adjusted cap? It still seems to be in place.

Did run into a bit of trouble though trying to download the zOMG game application,

As you can see from the photo above in the spoiler that for some reason its not letting
me actually install it on my laptop.
I have made sure to have all the right things downloaded including the adobe air and that i have enough free space
and have even removed the download and tried to download it from the link provided and
the game page however i run into the same issue.
any ideas as to what may be causing this issue?

Im getting the same messages and situations. Does anyone know how this can be remedied?

Hi! emotion_yatta Just so you know, the current boss UFO can be successfully beaten with a crew of at least six people. 3nodding If you don't have enough people to fight her at this very moment consider checking back later or recrewting some friends to help you!

The crowd @ the UFO usually picks up in late afternoons/early evenings on weekdays (going by US timezones here though). So you could try hopping into game then! 3nodding

I'll post in thread when I run into zOMG later today, and would be happy to help anyone experiencing difficulty with the fight.
