Rin/Lin quest bug??

I have completed about half of the quest that Rin and Lin have given me in the Ruins, but it tells me I have to go back and talk to them. When I fight my way back up there, Rin won't talk to me, and Lin tells me to kill balded vases to get the mystic mace head--however, my quest status never changes, so I am not sure if it is affecting the drop ability of the heads. I didn't see this as a known issue, but I wasn't sure if it is and just no longer on the first pages of any of the forums.

This is the silent [NPC] glitch. Sadly there is no fix to this and they are taking zOMG! down for repairs sometime tomorrow. Hopefully they will get the glitches fixed but I wouldn't hold my breath, they have been ongoing for years.

thank you for letting me know that it's at least a known glitch, since I don't play ZOMG very often. I know they were hoping to fix some major bugs before they put it back online, but I agree, they probably won't catch everything.

Before everyone realized they were not going to get fixed anytime soon (if ever) there were several silent [NPC] glitches reported. I have one on my mule in the same area and on this account on gold beach I'm at 1800+/20 bugs.
