Check out Lake Kindred. The folks in the forum have a couple different methods of earning plat very quick there. Whenever I need something to do with my hands, I take my fav tree killer, Tianlong, and slaughter some trees for a while. Many people play until they hit the daily plat cap, but I also don't usually spend more than 15 mins in there lol.
Runway voting is quick n' easy plat, too.

If you vote on Runway, it gives you a Chirpette Bundle every week. This bundle comes with 10 level-up potions. You can also purchase these bundles for pretty cheap on the MP. I've never leveled my kin traditionally lol. cool
LK FARMING! Tree killing & Rig Farming (my way from 0p)
- if you don't already have 30-40k plat to start with,
- search for a daily thread to finish your dailies (daily treats, vote, post, comment, journal, etc.)
- in about 2-3 days you should have 30-40k plat
- invest in a treekiller kin for LK (cheapest are miasmal terra or miasmal kinmaera)
- these two also have 95% accuracy (faster at killing monsters since you're less likely to miss)
- buy miasmal terra (7k on MP as of this moment)
- buy 5 chirpette bundles (5-6k each on MP as of this moment)
- open them to get the 10x ally plus 100% (also open these 10x bundles)
- you're about 30-40k in investment (you can easily make this back)
- level up your miasmal terra to lv 50 using the ally plus 100% (only takes 49 but you have 50!)
- start leveling your skill points until you can enter Kindred Wilds stage 5 then
- start farming sycamorte trees (you can earn 1k or 600 plat or worst case.. some game item)
- you can flee from normal monsters in Kindred Wilds stage 5 and keep trying to farm just the tree
- when you hit daily plat cap (earning less plat on sycamorte trees), switch to RIG farming
- Land of Sweets lv 5 has the best RIG drop at about 60% (there are no bosses on this map)
- Milky Way lv 5 also has great RIG drop at about 50% (you can avoid watermeat boss by fleeing)
- fleeing from bosses makes your RIG farming faster since normal monsters die with 1 hit
- opening RIGs in the long run is more rewarding (with some luck!)
- gotta sell the items you get from the RIGs though so gonna take some patience

And once you reach 100 of them (101 if you actually want to keep one), you can craft the Elegant Chirpette through alchemy. If you do that thought, make sure to keep your highest level one (or any you want to specifically keep) in storage BEFORE crafting; otherwise, the system might use it as it goes with first item to last one (out of memory).
However, it's quite cheap on the MP if you want one faster wink

Back on the topic of the thread, I frequently check the MP offers and sell anything I have extra copies -- if the price is fine with me obviously. Since it's giving you the money right away and you don't need to use a spot in your MP listings, it's pretty advantageous on these points.
I'm currently focused on collecting the classic monthly items that have a chance to appear every day. These items are still valuable and can be sold for a good price. The marketplace is a great place to buy low and sell high, whether it's items, materials, rigs, classic tickets, or fish from mini-games. I wish you the best of luck, as I'm working on collecting all the vintage monthly items dating back to year one.
Yea I use all the items I have an make an outfit out of and sell it on the market. I'll even go in the market and buy other cheap outfits to make a new one and sell them in the market.

Ally Plus Potions. Grind ONE Kin of your choosing to about level 20 (higher if you can). Sell off all the RIGs that dropped. Use those funds to buy Ally Plus Potions. Feed them to your Kin. Repeat until Kin is maxed.
It takes a little bit of investment, but you can get there from just Daily Chance drops and selling off other unwanted things. I bought a Sakura Pegacorn Fluff for 40k plat. It kills trees and does what I need it to.
