I'll include more details as needed, or as people ask.
But, basically, I wanted to try recruiting here rather than just In-Game.
Here's the gist:
[RP] If you enjoy adventure RP and creating stories with new friends, check the Wayward Guild out!
Premise:
Wayward is a super active server (Discord) and guild (company in-game), so the plot is developing fast! But the main points are this:
-- Wayward Academy is essentially a Mercenary guild focused on developing heroes and elite mercenaries to assist in times of need like during the final days~
-- Each ACT has a sort of theme and element focus! Currently we are doing a fun little like jrpg classic style story like FF5,7,10, Legend of Dragoon, Honkai Star Rail, etc. among a few other side plots that also help to push the story.
-- So the classic trope of adventuring, each character joining the cast and creating their own stories and journey overtime.
-- None of the characters will be played as the WoL. WoL exists, but are adjacent to our story's plot line.
-- The story is currently following the Dawntrail expansion, and the group is about to go up against the "big bad" in Solution 9. A great and wonderful time to join in the fun!
What we are looking for
-- ACTIVE Roleplayers with a genuine love for writing, meeting other writers, and story contribution.
-- Serious Roleplayers who have a desire to embed their character into the story and WANT to help to push the story with a growing cast of other characters
(If your character is naturally shy; generally does not like interaction with others; is uncomfortable around others; does not enjoy making friends with others; always wants other characters to approach them first; enjoys only being the wall flower; or they are too afraid to engage in anything social, please do not reach out to me).
-- Roleplayers who are NOT looking for ERP partners and are just joining for love. There is absolutely NO room for ERP, this is not the server for it. Romance is acceptable however, ERP will result in a swift ban.
-- Roleplayers who recognize that this server follows a sort of DnD style (light character sheets, and rolling server dice for combat) therefore, characters CAN die.
-- Roleplayers who are 21+, and are also willing play a character who is also 21+. We are not accepting children (or any character under the age of 21), because of the nature of the combat and other things going on in the story.
Note:
-- If you are unclear on FF14 lore, that is okay! We follow the current FFXIV story and (Final Fantasy) lore (so up to the beginning parts of DT atm) but are flexible. You do not need to know everything about the FF series to join.
