you are saying you cant buy from the official VS because you don't have a credit card? but you are looking for sites that sell VS underwear...that you would have to use a credit card to buy from anyways?

I find it strange that there would be people counterfeiting VS panties, i mean they're $5 each or 2.50 or less when on sale, why can't you just buy them from the official site?

well, not everyone has a credit card, especially the teens who buy them so they use other means. and people of course, will overprice. and there is no assurance that what is on sale is authentic.

I'm confused, i'm thought this was about buying them online from sites that aren't VS, in that case the credit card thing really doesn't matter since you're still getting them online and using a credit card. And why would you buy it from people who made it even more expensive than VS??

no. the payments methods used are bank deposits or through electric cash. people still buy it even though it is more expensive because there is no other way for them to purchase the products.

hmm, what about the ones people are selling them online? because vs doesn't have an outlet here people who want to acquire their items are inclined to purchase them online, either through their official site or through ebay or multiply. the people who sell them claim that their items are original, and bought/shipped from the US (because they themselves order online or have relatives who buy for them). a lot of people are buying so i wanted to how to spot a fake product. for example, the print/tag/label/stitching. i searched the net but couldn't find any sites that could help. i couldn't even find any site that showed fake ones.

btw, where is vs made in? from what country should the label say?

I wouldn't buy panties or bras from anyone other then the retailers.
Besides the health issues they could be fake unless they show a picture of the tag. 25$ for five panties that last forever isn't expensive. If you want good quality undergarments you'll have to shell out some money. Target has good bras for like 20$ but they last about five months.
I have VS bras that have lasted me four years WITH every day use.

well, there's no target or macy's, or any outlet that sells victoria's secret underwear.here in the philippines. that's why there are lots of people who are buying items that are sold online locally. sad

Just by VS panties from their site. You cannot judge whether it is fake most of the time without having it with you and comparing.

they buy and resell (of course they claim that they have never used them, and most have labels and tags) for profit.

this is the equivalent here:

5 pairs for $25

$25 = php 1,115 (the currency here)

$25/5 = $5 each

$5 = php 236

so they sell 1 pair for php 350 - 400 ($7.50 - $9) and the difference for us here is really big.

there are online shops here that accept payment through bank deposits or meet ups, that's why they can pay the seller even without owning a credit card.
