Yeah, A LOT of people refer to her as "that blind girl". No, lol, she nor anyone in her family, is blind. None of them have even ever showed any "signs" of being blind in the first place and if they were, it would have said so in their biography ninja info thingy.
But no, plain and straight, Hinata is not blind.

Remember though, when Neji was overusing his Byakugan he couldn't tell the difference between Kiba and Akamaru.

Anyway, when I first saw pictures of Hinata, I thought she was blind, which I thought was cool.

LMBO I laughed a bit too hard when that happened. Yes, but I think all ocular techniques have that effect when over used. The Sharingan[sp] is the same way. So yeah, the user's vision is disrupted only after being used to such extent, but I'm sure their vision goes back to normal after a while of rest.
I first saw Neji and thought he was blind... for some reason I found it funny. BUT after seeing Hinata in the same episode [I didn't start the series on the first episode, but ended up watching a marathon from episode 1 and so on ANYWAYS] After seeing her, I figured it was just how their family looked.

Yeah, with the Byakugan the eyesight goes back to normal after some time, but overuse of the Mangyko Sharingan causes permanent blindness (unless the user gets an eye transplant).
Hinata..Not Blind? Got it.
