what do you mean the only story? when they dont focus on sasuke its still pretty interesting. the akatsuki has some powerful shady characters and good fights. the whole plot of naruto is supposed ot be becoming hokage while triumphing obstacles. the show is called naruto not sasuke. if naruto became hokage and defeated the akatsuki the plot would be resolved. its not about sasuke its about NARUTO

2. being someonesbest friend isnt the same as being obsessed. if my best friend nearly killed me and completely ignored me for 2 years i think its safe to say we wouldnt be friends anymore.

3.sasuke chose his own path and i dont think naruto could change the pathj he went down TWO YEARS LATER

4.no he continued to stalk sasuke but the akatsuki side tracked him so he only stopped TEMPORARILY

5.when naruto was 12 he had the akatsuki to worry about which is more important than saving a best friend who doesnt care if you exist or not
