You have a point, a lot of J-rock vocalists have similar voices. I'm not sure why that is. But there are tons of exceptions.
Like, for example... Hyde, Miyavi, Gackt, Maru (BIS), Anis (Monoral), Ken Lloyd (Oblivion Dust/Fake?), Yusuke (High and Mighty Color), etc...

because they all sing in the same manner...but if you actually listen carefully, they don't sound exactly alike

I don't know what bands you've been listening to, but there are very few vocalists in the Japanese bands I listen to whose voice I could mistake for someone else's.

I don't really think they sound much a like, a good example are the singers of Asian Kung Fu Generation, Hyde, L 'Arc-En-Ciel, High And Mighty Color, Orange Range and UVERworld (But I think the last 2 are a J-pop J-rock mix)

... stare everyone asks that question now. sorry (cuz im cranky so..) if ppl dont like it or have a problem with jrock or jpop then no need to ask that question cuz many have asked it before. idk y they are similar (maybe cuz they r in the same genre?) or maybe cuz they cant help it? or they think it's "in" and kakkoi. xp

Kamijo from Lareine doesn't sound like any other Jrock singer that I know... xd
