I'm reminded of the episode of South Park where they learn that violence is ok but sexual content is not.

I don't think it's that big of a deal as long as the game is rated M and the kiddies aren't supposed to be playing it. You wouldn't buy little Billy porno so why would you buy him an M rated game?

We're desensitized to violence but sex is still a major taboo. People are trying to change that. But they have to deal with bored soccer moms who can't read warning labels.

Once sex in video games becomes as generic as violence no one will really care about what you did or didn't see anymore.

One reason sex is still taboo is because kids are born with their sex organs.
And if they see it, they'll want to try it.

Violence is less taboo because everyone knows kids are less likely to kill others and themselves. And you aren't born with it, and we have laws that prohibit minors to buy a weapon.
Sure, we have laws to prevent minors from having sex, but the restrictions only go so far.

The minor might buy a condom and if the partner isn't pregnant, no one will ever know.
Violence on the other hand, people will know if you hurt someone or not.

Porn seems to be the most wanted thing in video games, Now is it? It like EVERY GAME NEEDS PORN IN THEM, Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Final Fantasy, Megaman, Halo, Half-Life, Team Fortress, Left 4 Dead, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Action 52, EVERYTHING!!
