Hey sorry for a very very late response to your question. I hope you've already received a answer elsewere to this but I'm gonna answer here anyway in the off-chance that you still do not know.

From what I know there is currently no way to flip an image with the help of BBCode. One option is, as you mentioned, to download it to your device, flip it and then use that new one. Another option you could use is to upload it directly to any of the most common image hosting sites and use their own edit function to do the flip/rotation. Not all of the image hosting sites do offer this though.

Hai there!
BBCodes are used in the forum spaces, signature, journals etc. To be able to center your box in your profile it depends on what version you're using but it's mostly done through CSS.

If you need help for that I would suggest looking at the Profile Discussion forum, either by making your own thread asking the question or by looking at other users threads, guides etc to find your answer. Sadly I can't help you with how it works as I've not worked with either for years sweatdrop

tip! Reuse an old thread in a forum if you happen to have one there already and got that thread closed/solved

I've heard, or I think, that there is a trick to making links that appear not to be underlined. I'm not sure how it goes but I suspect it has to do with using the underline and making it white. Do you know how that works or should I figure it out for myself?

Just a heads up but imgleft and imgright do not work with Imgur images. It has something to do with how Imgur manages their images and has nothing to do with Gaia.

You can use align to make the images load left or right but sadly cannot get text to appear beside it.

Are you sure that this is the issue? I just tried it, both in testforum and here and it's working just fine for me.

Huh I guess they fixed it. This is what I get for not using BBcode in a long time. Earlier it was caused by Imgur's in house quality/size urls. Putting them in imgleft and imgright would break the image because Imgur offered a basic img BBcode link. I guess they finally made it more relaxed and allowed outside input on the images.
