Personally I would rather have appear as an option but columns look like a fun inplementation as well.

the horizontal line in my posts are actually just an empty codebox.
Using [Code][/code] will create this:

Images can can be sized with percentages. It scales based on the container

Using an SVG allows it to keep the same quality when scaling allows for advance concepts if you know what you're doing.

Hai, sorry for slow response back to you on this question but real life has had to take priority.

As for CSS I'm not sure how that works to keep everything centered as CSS and BBC codes work differently.
If you are asking this question in relation to creating a custom profile here on gaia I could recommend that you visit the Profile Discussion forum. If you are asking for another situation then this I would suggest that you maybe try to google for help?
