Haven't been on for a while, so I don't know how new the bulletin board is, but if you haven't gone through it, make sure to scroll through it and click on everything with a candy icon. They all have rewards.

Has anyone noticed a difference in freebie grants depending on whether you have GOLD or Platinum set up as currency ?

Like if you have gold set up , do you get GOLD or GC ? And if you have Platinum do you ONLY get Platinum?

Yes you can only get one or the other. Platinum does takes the place of gold after all. So if you had gold set up you would get gold rewards but if you have platinum you will get platinum instead. For example, if you had platinum then the freebies you could get could be something like 1 platinum, 2 platinum, item, etc. You would not get gold unless you have gold set up.

Gaia Cash is still totally separate and does not matter what other currency you use. If you get GC then it would still be Gaia Cash.

Unfortunately, mine has a "not released" glitch on the icon, so I don't know the name of the item. This is what it looks like:

It's a one-pose mood bubble. That's it.

I had no idea that the grant link would expire so quickly. Wow.
According to this person, who was able to equip the item, they're calling it a Mochi Mood Bubble.
Their item list is visible, but the item also has the "not released" glitch in their equip list. And the marketplace link leads to nothing. Sooo... it's probably unlisted right now because no one can put it up for sale while glitched.

when i got the item it said it was called 'mochi sponsor'
or something like that. they may have changed the name though and it may be one reason its broken at the moment
because mine is also broken even though i was able to get the item last night >:
boo~

as far as the time limit on the link, by the time they solved it, the link was only active for 30min...
and it was SUCH a late night 'event' too that a lot of people were pretty mad in the forum
