Thank you for this thread. I'm trying very hard to find melty extensions, bangs, etc, and especially buns!
There doesn't seem to be much to go on in general.

It's not much, but a quick mp search give those: http://www.gaiaonline.com/marketplace/itemsearch//?search=melty+ombre+bangs&filter=0&floor=0&ceiling=No+Limit

There isn't many ombre buns to start with, so it's not really helping sad

These in particular are the ones I'm currently working with, as they seem to be the best I've come across at the moment (especially given their wow price tag!)

I've built some decent hair with them and a few other items, but I'm really lacking something up top, hence the buns comment, but it seems like they're impossible to find in this. I'm wondering if possibly lavender might be better to search for. Even if they aren't "proper" (ombre), they still have a chance of looking good.

Of course, that's if they're layer, but that's a different story!

I don't know if it's the case for these, but I did get a few bangs sets from the CIs they added in Lake Kindred with the Halloween event -- so... it's helping prices wink

I don't know which wig you had in mind, but lavender or mint might be a good substitute for matching buns.

There's the Eclipse for heart shaped ones, Abracadabra Pon Puffs for conic ones, (milk) Biscuit for small rounds or even Pandaista (if there's purple ones, I think they are only user recolors and still rather pricey at the moment) which have chances to have some smile

Oh, some of those were released weren't they? I don't actually remember which ones myself, just that I noted them in one of the lists for the new area.

Well, the one I went with for looking good with those bangs is this (Melty Bunilla), and I'd really love to have these buns with, but they are just out of my price range for the moment. I haven't found an acceptable substitute as of now, so I'm just going to have to stash the whole thing in my closet.

As not a substitute, I can't remember if you have these in your thread or not, but these (Cool Wicked Tufts) are kind of cute as a small addition to a look.

Not yet; they got released today. I need to update my files first *is too lazy to sort manually the list every time, so using a script instead*. I'll try to make it before the end of the week -- I think I didn't update the whole month of October (even if I actually do have the data gathered for new extensions and extensions only sets). My system still needs a little work before it gets even faster to update smile It's still way easier to code thought. 3nodding

Ah right, I just had a moment.

By any chance do you use Gaia Upgrade? It has a really handy "copy bb code" option (though it doesn't list every recolour of course). Not sure if it would help you or not, but it has for me for keeping up with a (somewhat sadly) humongous wishlist.

From what I know, your best bet would be to check one of the colour schemes threads suggested here depending on which bangs you are wanting to match.

There's simply no way to know in this thread as every extension are grouped together -- whether they are from a multiple pose item or an extension only one.

So, you would have to open them in the marketplace one by one to really know.
