Gai is typically pronounced as 'Guy'.
In no way can Gai be pronounced as 'Jee'.

The only other way Gaia can be pronoucnes is 'Gay-ah', however that is in another context. In this context, it's Guy-Ah.

Gaea, which is a variant, can be pronounced that way.
While Gaea and Gaia mean the same thing in greek, they're not the same word and don't carry the same meaning when used as a name outside of that context.

I believe it's pronounced as Guy-ah since Gaia is an Anime related site and since Anime comes mostly from Japan and in Japanese A's & I's when put together sound like 'I' making Gaia relate to the Japanese language ... did that make sense sweatdrop
Hm... I'm going to need a little help with Eirmehz. XD
I have no idea, I've been saying it Ear-Mez.

Guy-Ah. Goddess of the Earth. Making this Internet Earth/World. Which matches pretty well in relation to the storyline and world map. :3
