Masculine Items Discussion! [01/13] New Spoons!

I will legitimately never say no to a suit
I just wish we had more color diversity with our suits
we've got darker colors down pat but bright colors are slim pickings
I also wish we had a better tagging system where I could find all these suits easier

Man, I can't believe all these good suit items were from a few years ago
all the ones on the front page are ones I still routinely use
along with Yan's Side and Flèche Synchronisée
two more unisex items with bombin' poses for both sides

Ahh I know right.
Suits in brighter schemes would be great, I'd love some in demon candy haha!
Yeah it's hard to find items I'm not familiar with, so going through what others have posted is nice so I can be like 'ooo I don't have that yet!'

We got some good stuff years ago, would love more suit items to come out just for more variety. Give us some with bright patterns on haha!

I'd like to put my two cents in the talk of Masculine items..

I really wish gaia would put more hairy pits or at least fur in the arms or legs or items they produce... like were all not hairless cats i know it's hard but like i need it!!

i own/want like 80% of the showcase :'^) and our golden ticket is gonna have some Choice Poses

purrsonally i'd like to see some more variation in business/business-casual wear. not enough items for varied body types (especially bigger), not enough patterned suits, not enough disheveled looks, not enough dynamic poses, not enough gaudy/dated period s**t like bellbottoms or hems up to the armpits or eye-searing colors

I enjoy seeing everyone's suggestions! Heartless King of Wonderland was a wonderful spin of Platinum Prince 3nodding Catch you was too casual for me~ and Business Chic I appreciated for being unisex.

My own suggestions are more on the traditional tastes.
I love seeing the detail on more period styled vests
+ I have a soft spot for a nice big overcoat and I'm happy for the more updated

Even as someone who would never use the option, I think it should still be offered
Because we also live in an era of cutters that have been used in the past to remove the hair if you don’t want it, but at least offer it for the people who do want to use it.

Let’s face it, nobody is really making clothing outside of what’s offered in gold shops to an unmodded avatar base making hairy options of the past unable to work with a lot of what’s being made now so moving forward it’s best is to offer hair on the mods when applicable

Decided to try out Business Chic (pants)~ I am veering toward military and away from regular suits. sweatdrop

I'm on female base so it's always interesting to hear about how some poses are slightly different on the opposing base. (Aura discussion the other day) I just saw a thread earlier today asking to remove the hairs from the male's Crown Jewel legs.

Just saw the "cloak" in Ballad of Souls. I hope there will be more recolors of this in the future. emotion_drool

i'm definitely in the "please give use body hair gaia" boat. we have hairy chest items, which are awesome, but then my avatar looks like he waxes his arms and legs. it's not the look i want!!

one of the problems i have with masculine items is that the legs often look too short. i don't know if it's just because the male base's head is so big, but they don't look proportionate at all. a lot of items that i really like... i can't use the leg poses on them, because my avatar looks like he's going to keel over from being too top-heavy. rough discipline and never enough swords are items that come to mind. oh, and royal catch of the season.

on the other hand, i have a lot of masculine leg poses that i am in love with. ballad of souls is one of my favourites by far. heartless king of wonderland and kindled connection are amazing too, as well as fly with me and one of the showcase items for this week, mr. poe. scapegoat also has amazing legs. they're more casual than i usually go for, but i bought both recolours anyway haha

I was actually trying to make a more masculine avatar earlier today, noticed that it'd be pretty sweet if that Buff Hairy Arms item got a recolor with lighter hair color. Adding that one to my ever-expanding mental list of items I'd get recolored if I ever win the lottery. XP

Since ya'll were talking about body hair, I figured I'd just go with that this week!
We have a big lack of types of body hair, although I do like using the manscaper items. Wouldn't it be neat if we got an updated version with more colour options?
