Well Gaia as in the word is pronounced (at least in English) "guy-uh" and...that would be how I say it. I don't get why, other than as a joke, you'd mispronounce it.

I mean, my roommate called it Gia a couple times before I corrected him. ;/ But then, he wasn't on the site and didn't see the gaiaonline thing constantly...

You've always said Guy-ah because that's the correct way to say it.

Well i pronounce it differently sometimes. (im not sure why).
The First time i saw it i thought "Gah-ee-ah".
Then i started saying "gah-ya"
If you go to a translation site with voice translation they pronounce it "Gay-ya" or "gay-ya"

GUY-ah. Well, I don't say it exactly like that. I sort of mix the A and the I and pronounce it like Gai, and then Ah. It still sounds the same but a bit more feminine.

I was surprised when I saw somebody actually said it differently. Somebody else said it references to something else, as in the goddess of the earth, I think.
