If I see a bundle or something I really like, I'll buy GC. For a while I had the $5 angel sub, but I cancelled when I wasn't coming on as frequently. Money has been tight IRL so I haven't spent as much as I once did.

Every six months or so I redeem a few giftcards I've been given into GC, just so I can perhaps snatch up some of those nice fun packs and open them and sell the ones I don't like to get ones I do like.

It's a vicious cycle, but I do find it's not as bad when the first Gaia Gift Cards came out. Put in WAY too much money into those things.

Whenever the cash cards come back in stock I try to at least snag one if I'm low on gold and want a quick profit. That or I buy when there are some good bonus offers.

I haven't spent any money on Gaia, but I racked up 37 GC from clicking the claim reward button that's sometimes on the new item announcements...
Recently, it's only been giving me 1 plat.

I tend to only spend when bundle generators are out cuz it's a great way to get gold from selling bundles I already have or items I don't want xD I used to angel sub but haven't lately cuz the monthly items haven't interested me :' )

I have on occasion downloaded an app then scrubbed it from my phone once I get the gcash. I don't love doing it but since gaia is a hobby I like to have enough platinum to support getting cute items and scouring the marketplace.

Used to watch videos and tried doing survey but I stopped doing those.


I did buy some in past with my mobile prepaid phone since at the time that was the digital money that really didn't use because I barely used my phone but lot of money stored in there so yeah used it.........way before I got paypal & credit cards

My friends use to gift me some gift cards, since they knew I was into gaia back then too

i been saving all freebie gc since 2004 and i currently got 490 gc,but i think one or two times in the past i spent a little bit,so maybe i might have had 1k gc just from freebies

i want to hit 500 gc and try to get a lucky rig or item i want

I do a lot of the surveys when I have time to kill but it's a hit and a miss of whether they work, and it can take awhile to accumulate any amount of real value

Basically every announcement is telling us to buy or what we can buy with GCash.
Even voting was just GC before. Can't stand it so I will not ever buy it.

gaia_spoons Use: I felt "Gaian rich" when giftcards were first available ~ But giftcards are a no ever since the 20% markup but it was nice to have disposable gold/platinum. lol
Schemes/items I like and want to support though it's more efficient to wait half a year and play RIGs for them~

gaia_spoons Buy: I love tiers~ The next good thing once they went away are item exclusive coupons and if there's a bunch of wants, guaranteed bonus GC. I dont touch the RNG coupons at all. talk2hand

gaia_spoons Collect: From announcements of new items-- I used to be able to accumulate ~100-250gc/year and I just spend it on my birthstone item~

Years ago, I remember doing phone games (reach a level) and then uninstalling. Then there's shopping online at main distributors through Gaia~ but you got to screenshot/contact customer support like crazy for proof.

I just started back, so I haven't bought cash as often as I used to. I don't really have any plans to buy a lot of cash, but I will occasionally splurge whenever I want. Though I did notice that the Daily Treat isn't available anymore, which makes me sad; it was the simplest way to earn a bit of cash. I don't do the surveys, because most feel like a scam.
