Another request for this into the void~
May we please have more larger belly mods. Like various stages of pregnant/sizes of chubby belly shapes..maybe an option with various clothing types covering the bigger bellies would be rad bc then they wouldn't be bare & we could maybe just add it as a mod over pre-existing item's 'tops'? But it'd have the shape and shading!
Perhaps, depending on the size, a touch of slight fading edges to kinda blend in would help? Idk
Bc we really need more chubby options & mama items? Also more cute kids; toddlers & babies..would be super
An increase in available diversity of this sort would be very much appreciated. 😊

OK. I know when Dream Puff came out, artists had to step in and say that the item was for the male base. And, well, since then this item just keeps coming out in schemes that definitely do not scream male base. Pale Bubblegum, konpeito, iridescent... can we please get a more normal recolor of the item much like the catharsis recolor?

i swear im trying not to pick a fight but your comment implying that pbbg/konpeito/iridescent is not normal or unsuited for male base rubs me the wrong way
colour schemes shouldnt be gender locked in the year of 2023!!!!
give men the option to wear pink or pastel rainbows if they wish!!!

also a catharsis recolour does exist of dream puff, if u search "dark dream puff" it should come up exclaim

Oh. I completely agree with you that color schemes shouldn't be locked to a base. The issue is that Gaia needs to be told that more.

Let us look at iridescent for a good example. A quick search in the marketplace tells me that the last five items to be made in the scheme were: Iridescent Mélancolicorne S, Iridescent Pum-pin Cushion, Opal Iridescent Cloud, Sprinkle Pyon Pyon Pudding, & Your Iridescent Aria. In my personal opinion, these are not items that can really be used to make a good male avi.

Pale Bubblegum is just as bad, and konpeito has just barely enough options to make it workable. So, yeah, guys wearing pastels is perfectly fine. I just personally would prefer that I don't have to equip a dress or skirt to do so.

The last part of my post did acknowledge the catharsis recolor.

Disregarding that opal iridescent cloud is a diff scheme i do agree that majority of the poses on the items mentioned are more traditionally feminine skewed.
We did get woolord in iridescent a couple months(?) ago and whilst not it may not be to everyones tastes I'd like to think that gaia is at least trying where they can.

I dont think its a secret schemes that dtd schemes are harder for artists to do so its hard to blame gaia to try and cash in on items they are confident would at least do decently. (Ie what sold out quickest for bfs lqts did not come as a surprise to me that they were extremely traditionally feminine/elegant/fantasy)

Realistically none of us are going to be wearing full poses so I generally just skim and see if I can use specific ones for gender neutral or more male leaning avis.
It doesnt work with leg mods or every item and it really does suck to get the short end of the stick when trying to

Imo pbbg/konpeito being a lil bit older than iri does mean that more unisex options are available to create those kinda avis (esp pbbg since old old items generally included two stances without skintones).

However i defs still dont agree with your categorisation of schemes as "normal" due to its implications. Maybe flexible could be a better term to substitute instead?
