In terms of will it give you viruses no, I use it all the time as long as you dont agree to download anything you should be fine it is like an anime youtube.

if you have a anti- virus program and don't download anything form the site, its got no viruses that my use of it has found. Its just annoying that it wants my ad block turned off.

I dont like watching videos on youtube. it like cuts into little parts here and there and sometimes giving the subs differnt language ( even though am half french i cant speak it you know D8< ) and i been there before its safe. i think most anime sites are safe nowadays~

Simply looking at their legal page makes me cringe. It's safe in terms of malware (supposedly) but it's not safe legally.
