Yep. The trick was to not wait for the page to load when posting. Just hit submit, count to 5, then click away.

Logging in was kinda similar.

no I couldn't for a couple hours last night
and if you check the Reddit a whole bunch of other people were having the same problem

um nope, it's a Gaia Online reddit in general
it mostly seems like folks looking for items or posting cosplay avis
but there was a post last night about the site being weird for some folks
