yeah it's not just you. the botting started early 2022 and more and more people started doing it when they saw that gaia wasn't doing anything because even though the botting didn't directly generate coin, it made an unfair advantage over everyone else.

so these people just buy some RIGs for cash, then open them and set up the autoclicker to list items while they do other stuff. then cause they want the artists to draw them first they throw stupid amounts. domokun stargate

I always just assumed that it was like. A product of being rich, lol. The people who draw are usually the ones with the nicest avis, so I figured they were playing the GC market, where two hundred kp is nothing. It would make sense for them to want more, because they already have more.

But also, damn when are the botters gonna throw that much money at me (/joking... /mostly). I do art, too. Honestly, though, even just glancing around at art prices makes me... never want to sell again. Some people are paying five hundred kp for a clean sketch, and I couldn't even make that doing a two character, full body, full color with shading and a background.

because no matter how hard some people practice they lack the ability

i used to be able to draw pretty decent scenery but could never draw avatar art because my mind doesn't work that way. domokun stargate

yeah it's intimidating seeing art prices when your art just needs someone to have confidence in it.

I honestly never understood why everyone thinks the economy is so bad. Like for real, im sincerely not trying to be mean but like....are they maybe just not doing certain things that would make them a decent amount of monies and it just seems like everything is inflated to them?

Everything is literally cheaper than it's ever been. All those 03 items that were completely unobtainable years ago are anywhere between cheap as heck or at most like "Wow, that's expensive but...I can do it".

Really once you do your journal entry/comment every 12 hours and your daily treats once a day. Even that right there is an easy 12-15k plat a day for doing pretty much nothing. That alone gives you at least about an extra 80k plat a week. Between that and casual posting it shouldn't be hard to make 100k a week just by existing and not even having to mess with the market.

For reals, the economy is fine. If anything its TOO cheap!!
