it depends on 'uke'.

if pronounced alone, it's "oo-kehy", but if it's part of a name, say "Daisuke", it would be pronounced "Dai-skey", not "Dai-soo-kehy". i learned that as i watched the DNAngel anime, so my pronouncation for the manga was incorrect. remember, the "u" in Daisuke is silent.

I know how it's pronounced in a name, but the word? O_O

oo-keh I can get. But oo-kehy? o.O What's with the y?
