Bokura ga ita ending(warning-spoilers)

i'm a bit confused, isn't there 13 volumes in the manga?? i've watched all the anime then read the last chapter in the manga and there was no mention of Yano or his mother dying, the last page consisted of his crying over Nanami's address and telephone number which he got from ringing Nanami's mother. Is there more volumes in the manga series?? As for the end of the anime series, it seemed like they were going to see each other again

I'm confused. Where did you read it to the end? Like it's not translated yet, so did you find some place where it was, or like did you read summeries. I didn't think it was finished yet, but I could be totaly wrong. It's sad the thought of Yano Death. Like I can totaly understand it the way everything was going, and they sort of seemed to make peace from what I've read. But I really wish he didn't/won't. >.<

I find this anime romantic and cute and at the same time . .funny. . sad . or what we call melo drama .but its really fine to me . . i can carry real hard drama situation since im a korean . . i will not drop watching this anime

this anime is perfect . . storyline . characters . graphics. .music and ost’s .all . . .

I just dont like they put sex situations in here . . like the thing happened with Yuri Yamamoto’s sister (NANA) and yamamoto yuri herself . . and the thing Nanami “Nana” Takahashi they put on (u know what i mean)

They should have like . . put a deep love expression on the characters by words . . they dun have to put sex situation in there . .

well this is my personal comment . . but that part on BOKURA GA ITA keeps bothering me . . well idk . . it’s destroying the images of the characters sad

and btw damn the ending makes me upset like 3days

I think Bokura ga Ita dealt with sex in a mature, realistic way.

The Yano and the ex (and dead) Nana gym scene was a little raunchy but I think the scene where Yano and Nana try and have their first time is the -best- depiction of losing your virginity that I've ever seen. (Even though they don't end up making it all the way)

I just think that they are high school kids and seventeen year-olds have sex. Especially in a serious relationships. I don't think it destroys the images of the characters, it just adds a bit of realism. The whole dynamic between Yano and Yuri would be undeveloped if sex wasn't involved. This may cause you to like Yano less, but in real life everyone deals with grief differently as well as makes mistakes. This anime/manga gives depth to its characters by blurring the line between right and wrong.

If it makes you uncomfortable, stay away from the mature side of shoujo/josei

Yano moves to Tokyo with his mom, but after half a year he stops contacting Nanami, effectively breaking up with her. Eventually it is revealed that his mother killed herself, after which he disappeared. He reappears four years later, living with Yamamoto but still remembering Nanami.

he doesnt die, his mother does. he doesnt contact nana which leads to their break up. Nanami is also living in tokyo, in collage. She sees Take very often. ( (relationship ? i dont think so. only because she knows she still caught up with feelings for Yano.) ) And thats all im gonna say. And that i hope that Yano becomes a great man, and ends up with Nanami

in the manga it was sad...in the anime it waas sad.

I don't really know the manga ending but I hope it's not sad.
+I do want Yano and Nana together.
