And FYI, Kim Possible is a great show if you take the time to enjoy the subtext. Note that Disney is FAMOUS for putting in adult references that go over little kid's heads. The target audience may be 7 year olds, but the references would only be funny to people over the age of 16. Think about it.

I quite agree. And I'm not very happy to be instantly thought of as a little 10-year-old for enjoyng cartoons, either. stare Anyway, I myself find a lot of the humor in Kim Possible pretty clever, even though it most likely goes over a lot of kid's heads. And much of the humor pretty much parodies things in real life and makes fun of them. When Kim and co. ended up trapped in various TV shows [which is probably my favorite episode], this was especially apparent. ^_^

Shego ended up appearing in a show called "Pals"...which poked fun at it's real life counter-part, "Friends"... xd

And yeah, I think a lot of the dialogue in Kim Possible is funny [even if it can pretty much suck in some epsiodes], and I usually laugh at all the witty banter Kim and Shego throw back and fourth at each other...though mainly just what Shego says. ^^'

Oh, and on the Disney Channel, often just before an epsiode of something is going to air, a disembodied voice will say some kind of "witty" remark about that pratciular show.

Well, I bring this up because I was amused to no end when I once heard, "Kim Possible; she's into books and crooks." I know Disney surely didn't mean it in the context in which I was thinking it in, but it was still pretty darn funny. And uh...you probably don't find it amusing at all unless you know people who are into the Shego/Kim femslash pairing, and I know of many. xd Blame Allaine and Rinacat. That's all I'm going to say.

And I'm not proposing that animated (or were you talking about TV in general?) villains ought to be a certain way, it's just that seeing them act in predictable ways can get old...even if it is Disney and that their scripts have limitations. Plus even little kids I know who like Kim Possible agree:
"Yeah, see look Drakken and/or Shego is gonna do this....TOLD YOU!"
