Well when she was first introdcued Finn and Jake were just about to go to sleep when they got scared because they heard noises outside.So there was alot of them being scared then they saw Marceline and they talked to her for a while before she showed them the "M"scratched into the wood(see they live in a tree house)turns out Marceline said the house was heres and she kicked them out.Well they went to look for another house and while they were looking there was a song and it s ike it kinda went like "we really shoulda stayed and fought that sexy vampire lady"and in the song she was all"im not mean im a thousand years old i just lost track of my moral code"an dso whe they found another home it was a cave an d they had a party and she came and showd them the "M"that was also in the cave and finn was all "ITS VAMPIRE FIGHTING TIME!"and she turned into a giant bat thinige and they fought for a while and they became friends.
hope that description heelped i know it may have been confusing but its serious;y a great show and Marceline is better shwon than told about
