• Her heart only knew rejection
    And the blood of humiliation
    And the cruelty of sorrow
Of everything that would come tomorrow

    She lived in everyday temptation
To want to ease her depression
But she was constantly led by her heart
That with every second was shattered apart

Every tear only gave her false hope
All her prayers being answered, no
So she gave up on the pleas that were left in vain
Because nobody cared about her pain

So she closed her eyes for the moment
Hoping to avoid just a little bit of torment
When she finally woke up all was a new image
A goddess couldn't compare to her new privilege

Everybody was charmed with just one glance
It seemed she was now part of a full romance
Every heart wanted to fulfill her desires
She was now surrounded by faithful squires

But none of them loved her for who she was inside
It was something she many times denied
But one merciless heart took away the confound
What once seemed to be love was just a hurtful wound

It didn't matter whether one was so exquisite
For all sinners would forever be wicked
Yet her heart would now stay a cold hell fire
For forever the loneliness will transpire

And the presence of love would forever be at a distance
For everybody will only like her for an instance
It won't matter whether she's now a diamond so stunning
Because forever she will feel like an ugly duckling
