• I absolve all problems, within this position.
    Insanity relapses, countdown to ignition.

Mashing the buttons, to make sure I'm set,
Flipping the switches before I forget.

The fate of the planet, rests within our hands,
the product of failure, creates desolate plans.

Alarms start to screech, but nothing is wrong.
I glance back and forth, for it's taking too long.

A rumbling stomach, a throat full of bile,
Never, I thought, would I ever lose guile.

Five seconds left, before we take flight,
Sailing the skies, towards a moonlit night.

Emotions are heavy, the eyes start to pour,
There's no way I'm walking back out of that door.

Three is the count, and I sink in my chair,
Facing the ceiling of what could be out there.

Not much time left, before we set sail,
The stars shine so bright, and act as our trail.

The announcement has ended, our transport is quaking,
    Breathing so heavily, nervously shaking.

Into the sky, we begin to depart,
Closer we ride, to the world of our heart.
