• I wish I had been warned about the world when I was small.
I wish I had been told, but I hadn't, not at all.
I look way up into the sky, I wish a wish this night.
Dreaming, wishing, of a world, where darkness turns to light.
Bright with love and joy and safety, wishes, dreams and trust,
Not with hate, with lies, with greed, with secrets, glares and lust.

And though I mightn't like the change, changes make tonight,
My future isn't far away, it's just right out of sight.
Beyond horizons possibly, there are adventures to be found
Waiting for the push I need to help me make the bound.

I need a pinch of time right now just to think it through,
A bit of time to carve my life, and make it something new.
I need to shape it right this time, I cannot make a mess
I won't go through with that again, I can't quite take the stress.

So here I start, a new beginning, okay, ready, go,
The whistle blows I run and run, the words they start to flow.
History will repeat itself, that myth is oh so true
But in the end, and honestly, there's nothing you can do.

Just wait it out and play again, walk along your path,
You will come to realize, that life is just like math.
You'll always get a problem given, then help and make your mark,
All is left, to flap your wings, take flight into the dark.

Like the birds, the fish, the trees, be good and learn what's right.
Your heart will always guide you, and take you out of sight.
Out of sight of all the danger, wrongness, and thoughts to die.
It is time for me to go now, so here I say goodbye.
