• He lies and he waits,
    Motionless and without a sound.
Surrounded by many but still so alone,
He has but only two to call his own.
They mingle and they play when no one is around,
But when the sun begins to sink,
And the room begins to glow,
    The door opens.
Inanimate life creeps in once again.
He lies and he waits for whom he loves most,
The one who has stolen his heart.
    As It walks his way,
He can't help but to hold his breath.
Tracing It's movements with his eyes,
He lets go of his breath.
    Rejection.
    The door closes.
    He sinks into his surroundings,
Losing himself with every passing second.
A casted shadow brushes his sweet face.
He glances back and there It is,
The one he holds so dear.
    Shivers run down his spine,
The warm feel of It's fingers on his back.
He opens his arms for It to explode into,
The words and emotions pouring out.
    They feel nothing,
    But absolute bliss.
With each word that comes out,
He knows it coming to an end.
    It,
    Has finally stopped,
And the time he dreads most has come.
    It loosens its grip,
And he folds up his arms.
    The door closes.
    He lies,
    And he waits.
