• When I wear my mask I'm safe.
Behind this mask is the real me.
No one knows who she is.
    Or where she's been.

People come up with their own solutions.
About the girl behind the mask I wear.
About who I am and how I act.
Life isn't so simple for everyone.

    When I'm alone I'm indifferent.
When I'm with friends I'm my mask.
    My mask controls my actions.
    And who I am.

I leave myself in my war-pack.
When I get home I take off the mask.
    And into my real skin.
I want to be different than everyone.

Without the feelings of my mask.
My mask hides the ugly truth.
Of my life and who I am.
I want my mask to disappear.
