Just waitin' for the day to end,
the darker hours slowly pass you by,
and you don't know why,
just waitin' for tomorrow,
seconds, miniutes, hours,
ticking by,
taking all our... time.....
You can't tell when you fell asleep,
you can't tell what was real and what was dreamed,
awaking while you're still asleep,
this moment makes you think that your dreaming...
They say that you're,
too old to dream,
to beleive,
you can do a-ny-thing,
to old to 'play',
and give the day,
to chasing your dreams,
but you'll put up a fight,
and you'll show them who's right,
when 'make believe' takes you far
This song comes on the radio,
reminding you to be free and let go...
walking down a city street,
this makes you think our small town was a dream,
nothing's as it seems....
You can't tell when you fell asleep,
you can't tell what was real and what was dreamed,
awaking while you're still asleep,
this moment makes you think that your dreaming....
They say that you're,
too old to dream,
to beleive,
you can do a-ny-thing,
to old to 'play',
and give the day,
to chasing your dreams,
but you'll put up a fight,
and you'll show them who's right,
when 'make believe' takes you far
Sittin' on the sidewalk,
playin' on your guitar,
this small-town dream of your's,
has taken you far,
Sittin' on the sidewalk,
playin' on your guitar,
this small-town dream of your's,
has taken you far.......
They say that you're,
too old to dream,
to beleive,
you can do a-ny-thing,
to old to 'play',
and give the day,
to chasing your dreams,
but you'll put up a fight,
and you'll show them who's right,
when 'make believe' takes you far
