• Held aloft by crimson wings
    Stunning, sightly, feathered things
Soaring in the sky of blue
    Being all she ever knew.

    Tendrils, empty, dark had reached
Shields, strength and mind were breached
Ripped of all she was inside
    A body drops, feathers glide

The sky gave a peculiar flash
Towards the ground she did crash.
    In solitude, I have slumbered
The Earth she met, the sky thundered.

Her mind lost in a foggy haze
    Stumbling through an empty maze
    Constructed of her own design
    Deep within she still shines

    Stumbling alone, lost and blind
My angel at last, I did find
    Broken wings, scratched, and scarred
    Many others would discard

Sightless to what she could be
Her grace, her heart, they could not see
By her side I now stay
Not knowing what ahead us lay

Trying to find a way to help
I find myself a useless whelp
She woke me from my drifting life
I'll save her from internal strife
